we stayed here for 4 days, the location is perfect you cant go wrong, Private Beach, Sauna, Spa, 2 Bedroom (1 Master Bed Room), 10 min near to Sea world, 25 min from Wet n Wild / Movie world. Its approx 40 min from Gold Coast Airport and 1:05 min from Brisbane Airport. Apartment has all facility including Foxtel which occupied kids late evening

The negative point, few things were not working like Dish washer, Washing Machine for which my wife wasn't happy :-(

JIm is the Owner and he is very good man, He advised me Aircon is not working, I was ok with it as the weather was cold but still we had to clean other thing as nothing was working

Master Bed room is ok but the other bedroom bed was ok

Please make sure you bargain to get best Deal :-)

Good Luck,
Jignesh

Room Tip: Please please please take the beach front view

Stayed at Breakers Nth recently for 7 nights with 4 other family members, this was my 2nd stay here and I would stay again. During both stays we had a beach view apartment on floor 10 and then floor 5 - both levels provided awesome beach views. It was so nice to wake up each morning and see the beautiful view in both directions. Long breakfasts on the balcony watching all the beach activity were wonderful and exactly what i enjoy in a holiday. Each unit is individually owned so the decor can vary but both units were spacious, clean and modern (although one of the lounges in unit 5 could probably be replaced). The apartments are a 10-20min walk (depending on whether your strolling or power walking), to the Oasis centre at Broadbeach for shopping (has a Woolworths) and Cavill Mall, Surfers Paradise is about the same distance in the opposite direction (lots of surf shops and Woolies too). There are bus stops very close by which can take you in either direction and buses seem to come quite frequently. Apart from being right on a patrolled beach, there is also a lot of great facilities available including heated pool, spa, sauna, games room (which could do with some updated "games"), tennis court, small golf putting area, sun lounges and bbq area with outdoor seating. Security is also very good with security/key tag access to your own floor only. The location has a lot to offer for a variety of holidays - you can do as little or as much as you like. With the beach & pool right on your doorstep it is the perfect place to relax and unwind or you can keep busy everyday with all the theme parks a bus trip away. There is also lots of other tourist activities available (on our recent visit we went kayaking at sunset with Australian Kayaking Adventures - great fun!). Breakers North have a whole wall dedicated to brochures and maps of all the activities available if you prefer an action packed holiday.
Free Wifi is available, however it is inconsistent when inside the apartments. Whilst outside and on the balcony, connection was more reliable. There is however a computer in the games room which had no connection problems at any time (you do have to pay to use it though, but from memory it was only a few dollars, plus you can also print from here too - totally coin operated).
Unless you are lucky enough to live by the sea, the sound of the waves breaking (which is constant), can take some getting used to at night time. It was lovely to have the windows open to catch the sea breeze, but the noise is relentless - however it only takes a night or two to get used to it.
Breakers North is close enough to Surfers Paradise to be able to enjoy all it has to offer, yet far enough away from its craziness. The Broadbeach area is a little quieter and a bit more family friendly. One tip though, if you are unfamiliar with beach/surf conditions, speak to the lifeguards, they are incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly. Whilst enjoying the view (& breakfast/lunch) from the balcony, I saw several rescues over the week (none too serious), where people ignored the flags and swam straight into areas with rips. There are flags to mark the safest swimming area, flags to mark the danger area and signs erected daily with surf conditions and advice.
I highly recommend Breakers North for a great family &/or couple holiday.

Room Tip: Pay the extra if you can and get the beach view

My wife and I stayed here for a week Jan 2014. Very good location more or less half way between Surfers and Broadbeach. Suffers very commercial and noisey. We had a 13th floor flat which was basic but had everything in it that you would need. Clean, tidy and the staff were very helpful. Situated on the beach, we really enjoyed our stay.

2nd time in this place and we walked into a spectacular view.

Arrived Christmas Day and everything went perfectly even though the reception was closed. The after hours service was good.

Would definitely recommend !

Have only been here 2 days so far out of an 8 day stay and I am very pleased. I'm in a very spacious 2 bedroom 3E very clean and very well presented have a nice view from the balcony of the beach pool spa and street. The heated pool was nice and refreshing the heated spa was very heated and they have patrolled beaches at your doorstep. Only negative thus far is more cooking utensils eg pots pans. I would highly recommend and would sedentary stay again.

First time stay and booked online with Last Minute. Chose because of beach access but due to deterioration of sand and boardwalk being closed it was a bit of a jump down to the beach. We had a 2 bedroom beach front unit that was bigger and better than expected. There were 2 negatives the first was the smell outside our unit that was coming from the rubbish room where something had overflowed. The second was after we got home and checking our credit card we found that Breakers had charged us again for the accommodation that had already been paid for and this took a few phone calls to get sorted out to get it reversed. But, I would still recommend this as a good place to stay.

Room Tip: Pay the extra for beachfront.
