We stayed at Paradise Centre Apartments for 10 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment in the Ballah tower on the 25th floor.
After reading some of the other reviews we were a little concerned about what we would find on arrival, but found the room was spacious and clean, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
The location of these apartment is perfect, we had an excellent view of the beach and Cavill Ave and anytime that we spent at the apartment was out on the balcony, the noise from below once inside the apartment was minimal and caused no problems whatsoever. The gardens are very well maintained and the heated pool was great. The only thing that needs attention is the outdoor furniture it could do with replacing other than that everything about these apartments was perfect.

Had an awesome time at the paradise centre apartments. The staff where very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to check in early as the room was ready. The room was hectic really flash. I honestly wanted to stay in the motel the whole time :P .. The best thing was it was right in the heart of surfers and you got free parking with ur stay. i was really impressed and would recommend you to stay there that is if they are not fully booked of how good the service is .

Room Tip: ask for the newly furbished rooms ..

Our family had stayed at the Ballah tower on a previous trip some years ago. After our most recent stay, our previous positive memories have been replaced with memories of dirty floors, filthy bathrooms and cold air from our broken window (only to name a few problems).
Upon arrival we discovered that the window of the master bedroom could not close. This was obviously a pre-exiting issue as there was tape around the window. Despite paying for a three bedroom apartment, some of us had to sleep in the lounge that night as the window could not be fixed that night.
When I informed the staff of the problem and requested another room, I was advised that there were none available for the duration of our stay. It was only when I contacted Reception again and pointed out that there website was still advertising three bedroom apartments for the duration of our stay was the possibility of changing apartments considered. Eventually our window was fixed but at no stage did we get offered a partial refund for the one night where we could only use two bedrooms as opposed to three.
The apartment was filthy! Within 10 minutes of having our shoes off, our feet were black. The children found cigarette stubbs in the cupboard, and to my disgust I felt something sticky when I opened the tap - toothpaste was stuck to the bottom of the bathroom tap. There were also marks of other things in the bathroom.
Despite asking for the apartment to be re-cleaned, the toothpaste was still not removed and the cleaning staff had to ask us where the cigarette stubbs were as they could not find them (clearly they were not doing a good job at cleaning). Even a second time round they could not clean the apartment properly. My family ended up buying cleaning material and cleaned the apartment ourselves – At least one benefit was that we were close to Woolworths so we didn’t have to carry all of our cleaning material far.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on the resort. I have made a note of the maintenance and cleaning issues experience during your stay. Issues such as mentioned will be addressed with the team. We have high expectations and find this disappointing. A refocus with training will be carried out. to ensure high standards are constantly met.

Stayed here for 10 nights in June11 with my family and was allocated at the Ballah tower in a 3Bedroom apartment even though I specifically request to be put at the Allunga tower. A bit disappointed on this matter but was easily forgotten once we enter our 3Bedroom unit at the Ballah tower.

The unit was very spacious, sofas was fantastic and the unit comes with a wrap around balcony. We really enjoyed ourselves sitting at the balcony witnessing the sunrise and the sunset. Very beautiful.

Kids love the kids pool tremendously.

Location was very centralised. Below the tower is Centro Surfers Paradise where you could find a huge Woolworths supermarket at the basement level. Plenty of food options along Cavill Ave downstairs.
2-3 mins walk to the famous Surfers beach. Walking distance to all the bus-stops for the theme parks transfer.

Bottomline, we really enjoyed our 10 nights stay at Ballah and definately will choose Paradise Centre again for our future holidays. Hopefully next time you can accomodate my family to stay at the Allunga tower instead.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on the resort. It is a shame we could not accommodate the Allunga tower on this visit. The 3 bedroom apartments are very spacious and I am glad you enjoyed your 10 night stay and hope we can fulfil your request next visit.

We were extremely disappointed with the quality of the accommodation the at Paradise Centre Apartments. This was definitely not 4 star accommodation as claimed, it was more like 1 star! We stayed in apartment A 1803 and it was disgusting! The bathroom appeared as if it had not been cleaned, with pubic hair in the shower and the toilet. The apartment is in dire need of a refurbishment. It stunk, it smelt old and musty and no matter how much air freshener we sprayed we could not get rid of the smell. The carpet is old and stained and needs replacing, our feet were black after walking on it bare foot for 10 minutes! The glasses, plates and cutlery were not cleaned properly and were covered in a thin film of grease. The mattress on the sofa bed was dirty and stained and the bed in the bedroom was so uncomfortable, it was not possible to sleep on it! I do not recommend staying here, it will ruin your holiday!

The apartment was clean and a good size, with a very nice kitchen. We had a great time and enjoyed the proximity to the beach and main drag. The facilities (pool ect.) were great and added to our stay. However the reception staff were rather cold to begin with and seemed reluctant to help at first.

Room Tip: We asked for a newly refurbished room

Thank you for your feedback on the resort. The facilities have been well received since the upgrade recently. We have taken note about the staff issues and personally find this disappointing as friendly customer service is vital. As a team we have high expectations.

I was extremely impressed with the room in the Allungah tower considering the price I paid on a discount website and factoring in the hotel is 30 years old. The 2 bedroom room was almost as big as my 3 bedroom house with a big living area, and main bedroom with a walk in robe and ensuite. Foxtel was a positive along with a flat screen TV. The views were fantastic looking out over the pool area and the beach. Pool area was awesome and virtually as good as any hotel I've stayed at, 2 tennis courts plus a gym. I think the saunas are a thing of the 80s and have been abandoned. Location is fantastic and it is also handy that the lifts take you straight into the Timezone. Car park is free as well, although there do not seem to be many unreserved spots. Slight negatives would be the limited amount of dishes provided which virtually means you have to run the dishwasher every day and the beds are a bit on the soft side if you like firm beds. Overall extremely happy with my selection and the hotel is significantly better than the Beachcomber across the road where I stayed on my previous visit 3 years ago. Will definitely stay here again if I get a similar off peak deal.

Thank you for your feedback on the resort. Your positive feedback was a pleasure to read, as the resort strives to ensure all aspects of the guest stay is enjoyable. The common area upgrades have proved positive and location would have to be one of the resorts biggest assets. I have noted your comment about the amount of dishes provided and will audit rooms accordingly to ensure satisfactory levels.
