Hotel was amazing the staff were really friendly and willing to help with any issue we had.
The room was fantastic, clean, really large with comfortable beds and the bathroom was beautiful.
Transport around the island was super easy with a stop at the hotel - though most things were in walking distance.

Our stay over Easter with our one year old son was very good.
The hotel overlooking Catseye beach was very nice, although a little dated made up for it with amazing view, huge room, huge bathroom with his and her basins, shower with separate bath.
The breakfast overlooking the pool was ample with a huge variety, just ask the chef for made to order omelette, eggs.
The pools were amazing - huge, clean, good temperature.
The staff including Management, & room service were very friendly, professional & no request too much trouble.
Free wifi, tea/coffee in room, concierge, pool towels replenished daily.
Snorkelling, catamarans & paddle boards free for guests.
Will definitely stay here again.

Request a room on the upper levels for superior view

Golf buggys for hire or short walk(includes small hill) 10 minutes to Marina & shops

Keep balcony doors closed to keep out cockys

April is a good month weather wise, some tropical rain, sea temperature 26 degrees!

Daycare on the Island was very good, the Clownfish Club has fully qualified carers, very nice facilities, and after hours babysitting in your room also available.

Spent one night at this hotel - large and comfortable room with big balcony and sweeping views of the surrounding islands and sea. Visits from the cockatoos in the morning were wonderful. Breakfast could be eaten at a choice of venues in the resort. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Walk everywhere or hop on one of the free shuttle buses. Fabulous swimming in the azure waters and during a brief snorkel session we saw turtles. I would love to come back here and bring my children next time ! Very well priced when you consider what some resorts cost internationally. Everything was pristinely clean and gardens beautifully manicured.

Room Tip: I think all rooms face the beautiful beach/sea. But check just to be sure - you don't want to m...

A great hotel with large spacious rooms and plenty to do on the Island. Loved the fact that 3 breakfast options were included and being able to charge any purchase on the Island back to the room is a great easy feature. Child friendly property and I would highly recommend getting a golf buggy to drive around in. Loads of activities for all ages or just flop and drop by the pool or on the beach. A great stay and I can't wait to go back!

We were there for a conference and stayed here for a few nights. One such day we went out for the day and left the sliding door open(ignoring signs telling us to CLOSE both the screen and the sliding doors)
When we returned we found our packets of chips in the kitchenette been opened, and the food on the dining room table were scattered about. We thought we had a burgled, but realised soon that there were a few tiny feathers and a cockatoo 'calling card' left on the table...eeeew! The staff were quite helpful and said that it happens a lot since the cockies can chew through the screen mesh, thus breaking and entering! The hotel has someone who repairs these doors specifically because of the cockies.
The hotel is quite roomy and there is a lovely view from the balcony.

Awesome views & a great family holiday destination with kids, the kids are really well catered for with activities every day, 3 very large pools although only 1 is heated in winter. Food & resturants are also very good, the Half day tour to Whitehaven beach is a must. Only negetives house keeping are very slack with our room not cleaned for two days & service is very slow.

We stayed at the Reef View Hotel for 2 nights after we married. Before this we rented a large house for our family & guests.

It was nice to get some space after a hectic few weeks leading up to our wedding on Hamilton Island. The views are amazing from the Coral Sea rooms, they are large and modern. The hotel is close to most things so the free shuttle buses is probably all that you need during your stay.

Concierge was always helpful & went out of their way to help out when needed. We would definitely stay here again.
