We ordered the twice cooked duck and i’m pretty sure they tried to pass the deep fried crispy chicken in plum sauce, as a twice cooked duck in plum sauce. They tried to make it fancy and all, but being asian i know what duck taste like because we always eat if from the chinese roasting place. Duck is suppose to be slightly gamie and the meat is tougher, this was like eating crispy skin chicken with plum sauce. They then made us pay for two people serving of rice, when we only ate one bowl. Feel like i got ripped off. Not happy!

A real gem for more casual dining. Menu is excellent and a very pleasant change from fried or baked menus in other casual dining places. Staff were very good and location right on the beach was a real bonus. Hint... book this before you arrive on the Island. Its popular.

We were required to have the banquet menu, being a sizeable group... Sadly, at $60 the offerings were underwhelming, one dimensional and lacked imagination. I longed for something that reflected the host of excellent reviews we had read...

Peanut curry, undercooked turmeric, the only fish was fish sauce :(, ribs could've been more tender, detracting from the flavour... By the time we got to a dish I might have enjoyed, my will evaporated.

Service was good, setting great, concept showed potential, premium pricing... The experience needed menu variety, and the execution promoted elsewhere on the menu... Disappointing and glad we didn't pay more... A couple $50 bottles of Bob Oatley wine were almost a conciliation, if they were just a tad more affordable. A bit of tofu, tender beef, a taste of duck... Even a prawn... Transparently high margin products that were poorly conceived.... Leaves an unpleasant taste...

Absolutely innovative and delicious meals come from the kitchen at this restaurant located on Catseye Beach. On Sundays they even do Yum Cha, life's tough!
