My sister and I dined here over the weekend while staying on Hamilton Island after it being recommended to us. I am a lover of South East Asian food and was certainly not disappointed with Coca Chu. The service was great and our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable with the dishes on offer. Initially we had planned on getting a couple of mains to share, but after the advise of getting a starter, then salad, then main we did just that. We had the son in law eggs (amazing), duck and lychee pancakes (very generous serving size and amazing flavour) and the pork ribs (my sister and I are usually not rib eaters, but these were to die for!). We could not get over the flavour in the dishes and the wait for food was minimal. The only thing I could potentially comment on in a bad was was the $15 corkage for the bottle of wine we took. However, the food ended up being a mere $5 more than a meal we had at the sails restaurant (a pasta dish and a steak) a few nights earlier, which I was very pleased with! If you stay at Hamilton Island and like South East Asian flavours, go here, you will not be disappointed.
