Food was really good with excellent service! We went with my 1 and half year old and 9 year old and they were fantastic with kids. I do recommend booking in advance as you can be turned back. They also cater for allergies.

Have dined here a couple of times & each time it has been brilliant. Service is always spot on & the food is (mostly) delicious...... an Asian delight.....brown rice is always a nice change too. Some things are not to our taste, but hey, that's what life's all about......experiencing new things...... Next time we visit, we'll try some other dishes!

Wow, after having Coca Chu recommended to us by a friend (and reading some good reviews) I am disappointed to say that this is one of the worst meals I have ever eaten... or not eaten as we didn't finish any mains.
There were 4 of us dining and we had booked early so as not to miss out on this opportunity to dine at such a great restaurant. The restaurant is directly on the beach at catseye beach, an amazing view and in the evening the beach is lit up so it has a lovely ambience. Lucky for us we had been told to ask for a table on the balcony which was nice as inside the restaurant was something similar to a 80s cafeteria, just terrible! However the table was tiny and there were 4 of us and we were told that all dishes are made to share and that when the meal is cooked it will be delivered to the table immediately.
We ordered a number of starters: betel leaves w lobster, lime leaf, peanuts, roasted coconut & flat leaf coriander and the green papaya salad w roasted peanuts chilli & cherry tomatoes. These two dishes albeit very small (one mouthful per person) were amazing. So delicious, so fresh and so many flavours that all worked extremely well together. We could not wait for mains.
For mains we ordered these dishes: green curry of beef shin w green chilli scuds, thai basil and the local reef cod braised in tomatoes w pickled bok choy chilli & lime and the wild mushroom w tofu, water chestnut & peanut sung choi bao and a dish off the special board which was jungle curry. I can honestly say that all meals were bland, tasteless, the fish was tough and the tofu so oily which was inedible. The four of us had a taste of each dish and were not interested in even having another taste. We mentioned how disappointed we all were to the wait staff who didn't seem interested at all.
Besides the food being awful the waitress continued to bring dish after dish and there was simply no where at all to put the food as the table was so small so we had to put the rice on the floor along with our beverages.
What a shame Coca Chu, we all know that restaurants can have a bad night but for all four main meals to be so disappointing and inedible I can't recommend this restaurant.

This place is amazing we are still talking about the food, Our waitress explained the menu and how it is best to share plates. She recommended dishes and we were so glad that we took her advice.
The flavours and balance of spices was extraordinary. I wish they were my local around the corner. Definitely recommend that you go, you need to book as they are so busy.
