We spend a long weekend at a Leeward Pavilion and although the weather on Hamilton Island was a little bit colder than expected, Qualia made our stay completely stress-free and relaxing. We were greeted at the airport with water and hot towels, given a tour of the island on the way back to the resort, and welcome with champagne upon arrival. The Long Pavilion gives breathtaking view over the ocean. Every one of our requests was dealt with efficiently and effortlessly. We didn't even need to carry any cash with us around the island thanks to the charge back system! We would highly recommend Qualia to all our friends and families!

we stayed in a Leeward Pavilion and it was great very spacious room and very well designed wonderful veranda over looking the ocean, at the airport they have a counter it is near the ramp going in to check in for your flight home they will give you water and refresher towels it set the tone for what they have in store for you the photos on the net is all true a very high standard resort ,the food was just amazing we had lunch in Pepple Beach restaurant overlooking the ocean at the cost of about $80 for 2 people with 1 beer all soft drinks are free ,our dinner at The Long Pavilion was very much a fine dining experience we had a starter and main meal each with wine at a cost of $240 with regreat we had no room for dessert ,if you wish to dine there on the day you arrive I suggest you book ahead unless you are happy to dine after 8:30pm ,we where celebrating our 34 year anniversary and they gave us champagne and a lovely plate with home made chocolate with Happy Anniversary written on it, as we are not champagne drinkers we left it in the ice bucked and they asked if we wanted red wine in stead they simply could not do enough for us they made us feel very special, the rooms get cleaned in the morning and they come for a Turn Down Service between 6-8pm cleaning again replacing anything used during the day like wonderful bath sachet ,fresh coffee for the plunger and any teas (not you ordinary kind proper tea leaves ) as well as leaving you a nice chocolate treat on the bed ,the veranda was very private there are no way anyone could see you from another room, loved sitting looking at the tide coming and going reviling the mangrove , the golf buggy was soooooo much fun and very handy as you can go down the the main street, anything you buy there you can charge back to the room we had dinner down there in a restaurant with asian style food we where not impressed with the food there ,the spa was also nice my husband had a massage for 1 hrs $170 it is complementary to use the steam room and the 9 jet shower at any time, there is a male and female area to the spa, if you can afford this kind of resort GO you will not regret the choice

Room Tip: we are glad we didn't pay extra for the room with there own pool it would have been too cold to...

Words would just not be able to express the sentiments we experienced at Qualia and Hamilton Island.
It was our honeymoon and we stayed there for 2 nights in the windward pavilion. We had booked a Spa Qualia Indulgence Package.
First I would like to recommend anyone and everyone who is planning to visit qualia to include a spa in your stay, you wont regret a single penny you spend on it.
From the time we were welcomed at the airport entrance to the time we sat in our outward flight to sydney, the people from Qualia just keep pampering and spoiling you with their hospitality. At times they were so unbelievable that my wife and I had to pinch each other to believe we were actually among people who could talk and treat you like Gods.
Everyone at Qualia, whether its the guest services, or the staff at the two restaurants or at the activities centre, just puts you on this dream ride where you are made to believe that whatever comes out of your mouth will be fulfilled.
Listen carefully, Ive been to 5star resorts, luxury hotels and places which seemed unreal in their own sense, but Qualia is completely completely unbelievable. The moment you enter the Long pavillion, the view takes you by surprise. Yes, it seems amazing in their website and very very beautiful. But when you see it live, it is <what you thought multiplied by 1000>.
The expressions on my wife's face was priceless. We stayed at Pavillion # 3, and it would be harsh to not mention that our pavilion was a small world in itself. with our very own plunge pool and the bed that was so hard to get out of(cuz it is as comfy as hell).
You go to qualia after looking at the views in their website and reading good reviews and knowing that its the No.1 resort in the world.....but what makes it really worth is the People who work there. They are a different species.Period.
Oh..and yes, dont keep sleeping early morning, you havent seen a sunrise if you havent seen it from your bed at Qualia facing the ocean.

We stayed in a Leeward Pavillion for 5 nights as part of our 3 week Honeymoon in Australia. From the second you are collected at the private desk at the airport to the moment you leave (you have access as a guest to the private lounge at the airport) you feel well and truly spoilt. The rooms are vast and equipped with everything you could possibly need, champagne on arrival and a bottle of champagne in your are nice touches. The hotel thinks of everything, your own golf buggy to get around, the staff even check that you've plugged them in to charge over night. We spent quite a bit of time around the pool which was always calm and quiet, free sorbet and fruit skewers were a nice touch. The restaurants in Qualia are all lovely with a great choice of cuisine, my favourite was breakfast though, the pancakes and eggs benedict were divine. Being on Hamilton Island also has the advantage that you can charge anything you buy on the island to your room, this was really convenient for us. Do go on the sunset speedboat cruise, the views are incredible and you are plyed with endless high end champagne we loved it!! We would come back here in a flash!!

This is a finely honed and well developed Queensland resort. We had a great week based in a lovely Pavilion high on the hill looking NE across islands to a great sunrise every morning. The Pavilion is well designed, carefully maintained and a lovely space to relax. qualia's appeal is it's luxurious atmosphere and well trained and enthusiastic staff. Youngsters from all around the world have been well schooled in how to make guests feel welcome and at home. The Long Pavilion dining room is a highlight for breakfast and dinner, with seriously fine food.

With huge sums spent on the entire island over the years, there is a very good buzz to being in the village. For exercise, we walked most of the longer island trails and took picnics for lunch. A sunset cruise, one dinner in the Long Pavilion and an extra night's accommodation were included in our tariff - which made it slightly more "affordable" than normal summer rates.

Nice touches include on-demand and free transport to and from beaches and other restaurants (in addition to the island's free shuttle). We visited Dent Island for lunch at the Golf Club (with similar offerings and style to Hamilton's) . A good afternoon's outing with spectacular Whitsunday views and what looks like a well-kept but challenging golf course.

Whilst one of Hamilton Island's strengths is its ownership by one person, it is also makes for one of its weaknesses - there is a sameness to the four restaurants we tried for dinner. Menus are similar, wines from the same "cellar" and everything is priced about the same. So, competition is thin on the ground, and the prices reflect this. The quality is very good, but some variety is lacking (with the exception of coca chu - a nice Asian alternative to the rest).

Nonetheless, we really enjoyed qualia and the ambiance of the place is just lovely.

Room Tip: The lovely Windward Pavilions face north - great light and location.

I cannot rave enough about Qualia- it's staff, location and how wonderfully we were treated. When we first arrived at Hamilton Island we were picked up from the airport given water and refresher towels and driven to Qualia where we were greeted by our host Lindsay. He was was so friendly and charismatic and started our holiday off perfectly, quick and efficient but really made us feel so very welcome. As did all the staff throughout our stay- always professional and at every call and beckon.
We stayed in the windward pavilion- 10/10 in every aspect, from your own plunge pool to huge windows with serene views. Cleanliness and amenities were of the highest standard. With everything accessible within Qualia- including a boutique, spa, gym, computer library, two restaurants, helipad and Pebbles Beach there really is no need to leave the resort!
We have travelled a lot but there is no other place quite like Qualia. I would give my overall experience here a 10/10 and urge anyone thinking about spoiling themselves to visit there at least once in their lives- we will definitely make it annual getaway (child-free!).
Thank you Qualia for making a pregnant Mum feel very spoilt and refreshed!

I came here as my first stop on my honeymoon. I called in advance and they had the room decked out with champagne and flowers to congratulate us on our marriage.

Later on, they threw in another champagne bottle for free and even comped a sunset champagne cruise for 2 because we had to wait a couple hours to get our room.

Service is great and quick. The staff is courteous and the breakfast is amazing. The plunge pool in our villa was unusable because, even in the summer months, it was always on the shade. This made it too cold to use. Besides that, it really doesn't get any better than Qualia and Hamilton in general.

Dear Narayan B,

I am delighted to read that you had such a great start to your honeymoon with us and I thank you for your review.

It is always such a pleasure to assist in honeymoon celebrations; and it’s most humbling to learn that my team were able to bring to you the most perfect of qualia experiences.

The champagne on arrival is just to start your holiday off and the least we can do.

Do let me know if I might assist in any way in organising your anniversary perhaps? gm@qualia.com.au

Sincerely,

Matthew T
