How do you shlurrrr typing? No, only joking. What a great day. Lots of amazing wineries and lots of wonderful wines. The structured tastings were best but we enjoyed every taste. You can't beat Oz wine right from the source. Each Cellar door oozed the (approx) 150 years of Barossa history and the severs were knowledgable about the Barossa wines they produced.

Russell, our guide for the day, not only made the trip more personal but also filled in the gaps of the regions history and made the trip a more rounded experience. The stop at the whispering wall was a particular highlight.

Thanks to all at Taste the Barossa.

Had a great day out in the Barossa. Russell took us on a tour. Considering this tour is so popular, we only had 8 people on the tour. Very relax and personal.
Russell certainly has the best knowledge about Adelaide and the Barossa.
First stop was the dam.
First wine stop was to the McGuigan vineyard. Had good tasting over a few kinds.
Second stop was Peter Lehmann tasting. Good wine too served with crackers.
And followed by shared cheese meat platter lunch between two. Good food too. Wine is available for purchase for lunch.
And then a short walk on vineyard to the third tasting. No set wine kinds, you can try anything you want to drink, as much as you want.
Last wine tasting was at this new boutique vineyard. Very friendly staff. Not the best wine produced however.
Overall, a beautiful day to the Barossa.

However, I would still give this trip a 4.5 star. Because, The trip was kind of rushed through. I understand there are plentty places to cover in one day. But I would still like to spend more time in each wine tasting to better enjoy them.

Hi Jason526
Thanks for your review. We value all reviews however it's very humbling when people that have reviewed dozens of business give us 5/5. I know you mentioned that you felt it could be less rushed, it's a very fine balancing act to get the perfect itinerary. There is a company that visits 6 places to our 4, some people will look at that and think the 6 is better value however during the day it's like your at the gym up and down rushing here and there. 4 wineries with a bit of sightseeing and some opportunities for nice walks make for a pretty enjoyable day.
Thanks for your review and I hope you really enjoyed our fantastic city.

We had a wonderful day with the Taste of the Barossa. John our driver and guide was extremely knowledgeable of the whole wine process and the history of the region. He was also the most lovely man to talk to as well. We visited four wineries and the tour also included a visit to the whispering wall and lunch was included. The wine tasting was sensational and the crowd in the bus were great as well. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone going to Adelaide and planing a trip to the Barossa.

My partner and I had an excellent day out with Russell, our friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. The service is VERY well priced, the lunch was excellent and the wines were delicious. As we had just flown in to Adelaide that morning, we asked to be collected from the airport and dropped off to our hotel afterwards and this was no problem at all. That alone saved us about $25 on a taxi!

I could not recommend this tour highly enough.
