The O'Connell inn is now owned by the same folks that own the Prairie Hotel in Parachilna, which is an iconic country pub. My stay was characterised by that country 'warmth' and personal approach. There is some great Aboriginal art for sale in the lobby and restaurant area which support indigenous artists and they have changing exhibitions. Several of the rooms have been updated and I can only suppose any negative reviews on this site are from before this team took over. Really great location and atmosphere!
