I tried staying at this hotel, but upon arriving we were told that our booking had been cancelled - but had not received any prior notification of this (otherwise why would we had bother turning up for our booking).
The person who we spoke to at front desk, we found to be extremely unhelpful, almost to the point of arrogant.
I have since sent an email to this hotel to complain, and the only response I received was a blank email from firstname.lastname@example.org.
Understand that mistakes are made, but its the way the mistake has been swept under the carpet that has left a horrible impression of this hotel.
On another note, we had contacted another hotel within the area on the night we were meant to stay at InterContinental, the staff there were above friendly, went beyond what we expected and the rooms were very nice... will be leaving a positive review.
