This was our third time staying here and definitely won't be the last. Best spa ever. Roomy and relaxing. Great escape where you can be self sufficient. Great value for money. Kitchen has all you need for a night in.

Hi Monica,

Thank you so much for sharing your generous thoughts with the world.

We honestly believe that our spa rooms are unique to any property in Adelaide and it's great to hear the word is spreading around.

We hope you get the chance to have your fourth stay with us in the not too distant future.

We only had a one night stay in our studio apartment, but it was great.
The location is perfect. Within walking distance to absolutely everything and the free city tram stops almost directly out the front.
Our apartment was fully furnished with everything we could need, and plenty of space for the two of us.
The only thing I would fault are the doors. I think they are a bit thin (we were woken at multiple times during the night due to people walking to the lifts and talking etc), and there was a large gap at the bottom of our door, meaning that light was streaming into our apartment all night. This was easily fixed by placing a towel there to block the light.
Other than that, it was perfect! We wish we had a couple more days there to really take advantage of the location and the facilities our apartment had to offer.

Hi Michelle,

It is great to hear that your time with us was one of convenience and comfort.

It is through reviews such as yours that we can find ways to make our property better for all guests, and since reading your comments, we are looking into the options to minimise any light or noise disturbances that may be caused from the doors.

Thank you for your time in reviewing our hotel and we look forward to welcoming you back.

We stayed here as a group of 3 families in March and found it perfect, having a place we could all gather in one loungeroom when we needed was great.
Reservations were super helpful and managed to get us all on one level which was great for the kids.
the location is brilliant - we could walk everywhere, couldn't fault it (well maybe understanding the parking drop off, but it was only a moment in time)

BOOKING: easy over the Quest website. Beware that there are lots of Quest locations nearby, pick the right one!
LOCATION: excellent. Right in the centre of CBD. 2 minute walk to Rundle Mall.
CHECK IN: smooth and friendly, although the reception attendant wasn't able to explain the parking location very well, and indicated 3 different places on a generic map...
PARKING: parking is NOT at the hotel. It is in Secure Parking on Solomon St. Attached to the back of the Plaza Hotel. You can drop baggage via Register Lane, at the back of the hotel. Beware of one way street systems. You pay $15 for 24 hours of parking. It's supposed to be multi-entry, but it ate our ticket the first time we left the carpark. It is a fairly "dodgy" multilevel carpark. It is just 300m from the Quest hotel, but because of the one way system you have to take the following route (this is a much simplified version of what the Quest reception staff told me) - left out of Register Lane, straight across King William into Currie st. Continue to Light Square, go all the way around the square and BACK ONTO CURRIE ST (eastward). Take the side street onto Solomon, labelled with a blue/white P sign.
ROOM: we had a nice studio on the 8th floor. Generally it was well appointed. The window was incredibly dirty, and the sliding frosted glass panel between the bedroom and living room was missing. Also, the hot plate in the kitchenette was located on a head-height shelf, with no other counter space... Not the safest! Lovely bathroom.
WIFI: for free at reception, but not available in bedrooms.
No restaurant/swimming pool/balcony.

Abs140,

Thank you for your time in supplying such a comprehensive review.

While we understand the road rules in Adelaide CBD can be confusing, we try our best to guide all guests in the safest possible direction to our carpark. Please note that the best route can change at certain times of the day and on weekends.

I can report that steps are already underway to get all the exterior windows professionally cleaned. This is a much larger task that one would imagine, given the age and access of the building exterior. Our housekeeping staff will continue to ensure that windows surfaces on the interior of the building are spotless however.

It is pleasing to read that the majority of your stay and dealings with our staff were pleasant, and we look forward to your next visit to Adelaide.

Cooking for ourselves is a basic and when a kitchen is advertised we expect one. Not 2 movable hot plates stored on a cupboard that you have to move to use. Our room was clean. There was no in room laundry but a communal one next door to our room, where you could hear the dryer and washing machine through the wall. The shower was not capable of staying straight so you could stand under it and was no longer able to be adjusted and more water came out of the joints more than anywhere. We had to make an emergency visit with NO warning to Adelaide and were thankful for anywhere but we would not go back. The poor girl who booked it for us (from my husband's work) was mortified when she saw our photos as it was not what she felt was advertised. We were not interested in the view but it was a lard grey building - very close.

Room Tip: Ask for details, do not make assumptions. The facilities seem to vary depending on what room type yo...

Hi Sandy,

It is disappointing to read that your stay did not meet expectation.

I can report that our maintenance department has already attended to the shower head issue and corrected any leaks and inability to adjust the direction.

Furthermore, we do advertise that our studios and one-bedroom apartments contain a kitchenette as such with two-burner cooktop, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery. For a full kitchen with dishwasher and oven included our two-bedroom apartments are a good value option.

Staying at Quest On King William while attending 4 days at Womadelaide. I love my little apartment. Bed is very comfortable, overlooking Grenfell Street near King William St and hardly any noise, so quiet. Clean and classy! I like it so much I could live here. And the location is brilliant! Love it! Can't wait till my next stay!

Room Tip: I'm on the 4th floor, so that might help with noise issues!
