We actually bought the mystery hotel on lastminute.com and was pleased to have got a room in the 5star Rendezvous. The hotel was of a high standard, nice rooms, very clean. Car parking can be expensive if not on a weekend- there is a multi-storey car park opposite that you can pay to stay in, not too expensive at the weekend but is so on weekdays. Street parking nearly impossible to get.

We stayed here during the 2010 Ashes and were very impressed with the hotel and staff. Despite being very busy the staff and facilities coped very well. It is well located and reasonably priced (even the minibar items). Rooms are small but well apointed. Having previously stayed at the Hyatt (now Intercontinental) we would stay at the Renezvous again.

My bf and I arrived in Adelaide as part of our 3-week vacation around Australia and to the tour the Barossa Valley. As compared with my other reviews, this will be short as I found this hotel to be unremarkable at best. My bf and I consistently found staff members tending to the front desk to be inept at their duties. Both at the time of arrival and departure, the bellhop seemed to ignore his job description to assist in loading our bags for transport and to secure a metered taxi (I actually found a taxi and led it to the hotel's roundabout). Last, and unfortunately not least, it was dreadfully obviously that housekeeping cut corners, so to speak.

Stayed there again recently. Beautifully appointed room, with everything a business traveller could wish for. Very spacious room, all mod cons. Very mod cons - my challenge this trip was to work out how to work out the plumbing - design clearly favoured the look over the intuitively obvious, and for middle-aged eyes without glasses, detecting the oh-so-minute and barely imperceptible difference between hot and cold taps first thing in the morning wasn't easy at all. But these are teeny tiny things really. Bed was wonderfully comfortable, a selection of pillos, restful, quiet, and just delightful staff for whom nothing relating to guest comfort/service was too much trouble.

The hotel was clean, the staff were very attentive. The location wasn't the greatest, but it wasnt the worst either. You have to walk a bit if you want to get to Rundle Mall. There is very little around the vicinity of the hotel, otherwise it was a very nice hotel. It had a lap pool and a sauna

Stayed here while attending a conference at the Adelaide Convention Centre. I was initially concerned about the distance but it was only three blocks away, thus an easy walk to and fro each day. Also convenient to the Central Markets and restaurants in Gouger Street, 2 blocks in the other direction. This is quite a new hotel, the room I had was spacious, had a very comfortable king bed with 4 different types of pillows- foam, feather, polyester + one other. Quite fun to try out the different ones each night. Certainly slept well. There was enough space for all my clothes but I was somewhat surprised that a hotel this caliblre had the sort of hangers that is normally associated with cheaper hotels, the hanger that are attached to the rails. Wifi is free but otherwise one could use the computers in the business centre for $5/half hour. Tha bathroom was great. Very well lit. Very spacious, with a deep bath and separate shower. One could have a bath and look through the glass screen to watch TV! I didn't eat at the hotel so am unable to comment. Had a lovely breakfast at Rigoni's with is half way in between the hotel and Convention centre. Loved the fact that they provide reading glasses for those of us who are starting to struggle with our vision. Had diiner one night at Georges on Waymouth- a five course Degustation menu whichas absolutely brilliant.. Would also recommend Andre's Cucina on Frome Street. Absolutely brilliant polenta dishes and moreish banana/chocolate donuts.

We stayed for one night in September when visiting Adelaide for a friend's 30th birthday. We got a great rate on Wotif including breakfast. We went in early to drop off our bags and were told we could check in and that our room was ready, which is always appreciated. We were thrilled with the room - a corner room with a separate corridor entry and beautiful bathroom that could be opened up to the bedroom or closed off for privacy.

We ended up having a bath after the party and could look out at the city lights from the tub! The bed was very comfortable and we both slept well.

The breakfast was great, especially having the option to menu order in addition to the buffet.

Overall: above average rooms and breakfast and very reasonably priced.
