Fantastic hotel in CBD of Adelaide - great spacious rooms with King Size comfortable beds - spacious rooms - well appointed - good fittings - extremely helpful and friendly staff - nothing is a problem - and they are genuinely interested in you.

This is now my home away from home when I come to Adelaide and it is greta to have such a place. Stayed here tiwce now very consistent and this time I had also had 190 very fussy students who were also suitably impressed!

Well done staff especially Cameron;Daniel; Lyvia and Nathan

11/10 for all those staff.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in for service and amenities and feel/vibe and I have stayed in quite a few.

Regards

Terry Smith

We recently stayed at the Majestic Roof Garden Hotel for 5 nights and were extremely satisfied with the cleanliness, quietness and staff professionalism. The location couldn't have been better with numerous restaurants a very short walk and local buses and trams within two to three short blocks. A great home away from home.

Room Tip: We took luck of the draw and were very pleased.

Majestic roof Gardens Hotel was the perfect choice for our 4 day visit to a very busy Adelaide. Ideally situated next to Rundle Street with its choice of restaurants and pubs, but quiet enough to enjoy a break from any hectic activity.
Good size room , with safe and an excellent bed. Mini bar and 'extras' were very reasonably priced. ( I normally avoid mini bars!) The stylish bathroom had a separate shower.
All staff we met were exceedingly helpful with information and help on room, flights and excursions out of Adelaide.
The breakfast had a good choice of food in a relaxed atmosphere.
Our room was on the 1st floor, but we heard no noise from traffic.
The hotel is a short walk from the highlights of Adelaide and I would unreservedly recommend it
as a base for a sightseeing visit to the city.

My wife and I booked online and stayed 6 nights at the majestic. Its a very nice, modern, clean hotel, just round the corner from Rundle Mall and easy walking distance to the zoo, Central Market and tram to Glenelg.
We were in room 110. A nice, large, well appointed room with a very nice, big bathroom. The bed was massive and very comfortable. It was such a quiet hotel, which I really REALLY liked. Free wifi was good too. The downside was that we were on the 'back side' of the hotel, which meant virtually no natural light in the room. Still, we didn't spend too much time in the room. When not out and about, we went up to the roof garden to share a bottle of bubbly and nibbles each afternoon. The views aren't spectacular but you still get a pretty good view - especially when there was the eclipse the afternoon of the 29th of April. If one side of the roof was in shade, you'd just go to the other side. Though a covered area would be good (maybe making the meeting room area available if it isn't in use?). The 'gym' room, also on the top floor was VERY small. Once more than one person was in there, it really wasn't that comfortable. Or at least that's what the wife told me, I was on holiday and preferred coffee in bed with some of the fabulous local food!
We didn't try the restaurant but the happy hour in the bar was fine. Unfortunately for the hotel, with the fabulous Brunelli cafe just around the corner it meant we barely ate anywhere else.

So all up, good location, service and room (bar lack of natural light), lovely and quiet. The roof garden and the gym room were pretty good but a bit meh. For the price we got ($125 a night), certainly no real complaints.

Room Tip: try for a room on the Frome St side of the building

Just spent 4 nights at this hotel. Very spacious spotless room, efficient reception staff, very friendly helpful housekeeping staff. Hotel in very good location close to everything. Best nights sleep I have had in a long time, very comfortable bed and pillows.
Only gripe, the balcony was like a very small enclosed room, maybe the rooms at the front of the hotel did have balcony furniture. A must to see while visiting Adelaide is Ayers House on North Terrace.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front may be better than the back as these are overlooked by multi storey car park and...

This is a good little hotel if you want a great location, a clean & comfortable room at a very decent price. There aren't too many extras here - the rooftop 'bar' is very basic (just room service on an empty rooftop with a few tables & chairs) and the views are nothing to write home about - we looked straight into the car park across the road. However.. The price is very reasonable, service was fine (though we didn't really ask for anything) and the location is great - everything you need in terms of restaurants, bars, shops, day spa is just around the corner.

I stayed here for a girl's weekend based on reviews of other contributors. I wasn't disappointed. It has all the qualities of a top notch hotel: comfortable, clean and well appointed rooms; great location as well as friendly staff. Our room did not have a view but it was quiet even though it's just of the main restaurant strip. Would stay here again!
