“A Gem in the City”
Reviewed 3 January 2014

This is a beautiful, tranquil garden to escape the bustle of the city. As soon as we stepped into this little Japanese-style garden, I felt at peace. With neat green lawns, a few trees to provide shade, 'oriental' shrubs and water features dotted around, its a lovely and different place to visit. It also has a raked Zen garden (with the sand and rock features) and a large pond with big goldfish, surrounded by water lilies. This relaxing little gem is even better if you can get it to yourself; don't go in the heat of the day.
The only thing I'd complain about is that it's too small! But the size is perfect for a little wander to recharge batteries.

“Purple serenity”
Reviewed 4 December 2013

A very pretty little garden though the zen garden was a little neglected. It looked very sweet with Jacarandra petals all over one corner, as though purple had overrun the serenity ;)

“Adelaide's hidden secret”
Reviewed 13 November 2013

How a place in the middle of the city can be so quiet, serene, and relaxing is remarkable. If you love admiring well-kept gardens or just want to escape for a few minutes, this is the place you should visit. It is immaculately-kept and the sites and sounds will delight. Tip: Go early in the morning, around 9am, for a good chance of having the whole garden to yourself and don't forget to bring your camera along if you are an avid photographer. Would be even more enjoyable if the grounds were larger, or incorporated a teahouse.

“Tiny gardens overrun by drunks”
Reviewed 10 November 2013 via mobile

I went to the gardens which were nice and very well done. There was a wedding taking place which was spoiled by a group of drunken homeless people shouting and swearing. It is a shame because this could be a great place
