“Nice Comfortable Hotel”

As a regular business traveller to Adelaide thought I would give this Hotel a go. Was not disappointed, the Executive KS Rooms are well worth it ( Shop around I got a deal for $155)
Clean, well presented, nice towels and toiletries. Great sized TV and the heating worked lovely.
There's a small bar area downstairs and breakfast and dinner should you wish, however there are some very nice pubs and a great little wine bar on Sturt St so well worth the walk.
Free parking a huge bonus, great location and all I can say is I could not fault it. Great Staff and free papers make this place.

Room Tip: Go for the Executive KS Rooms and go for floor 10+ and request away from the Lifts.

I am pleased you enjoyed your recent stay and sharing a review for others.
Sounds like you found a real bargain with the price for the Executive King Room. Another helpful tip when shopping for price with us is the earlier you book the greater the savings.
I hope you also enjoyed the views from the room as they are almost unparalleled in Adelaide.
Adelaide has many new installations with intimate bars and laneway venue's opening up in our great city over the last year or so. Truly vibrant.
We look forward tow elcoming back when next you visit.

Room was good size,very clean. Shower was ok not keen on over the bath and I found very hard to get out of.Car park first come first park so if going to show etc late back may not get park.Quite area of Adelaide No traffic noise from our room

To keep pricing down and parking free we are unable to reserve spaces so parking can be difficult at peak times, however our guests are also welcome to park at our adjoining properties should they have free spaces when needed. Hotel foyer and restaurant nice but rooms small and not very clean.
Balcony filthy with bird droppings. I Couldn't even stand outside it was so bad.
Also not enough car parking spaces for guests so get in early if you need one.
Staff are very nice and helpful.

Myself and my husband stayed there for 1 night. Room was very clean and specious. Hotel staff was friendly. Free parking was a big bonus for us . Location was good as well, only 5 mins walk to free tram which will take you to city circle, but there are not many cafes around.Hotel has it's own restaurant but didn't go there so can't comment on that. Also We felt it was bit overpriced but would stay there again if get a good deal.

Arrived Easter Friday. Had a wait at check in as only 1 staff member on. Room was lovely, clean and modern. Few things let our stay down though. Cigarette butts on the balcony, broken lift upon checkout which left us waiting on the 4th floor as the remaining lift would go to top floors to collect first, so by the time it got to us it was full. Then upon leaving, reception asked for credit card. After explaing this had already been processed at check in, was told this was needed to complete payment. Then checked my credit crd online-charged twice. Rang and was advised that this was their normal process and one of the charges will drop away. So beware if paying by card. Also stayed 3 nights, and 2 nights had to park on Sth Terrace as no car parks available

Thanks for the review of your recent stay. We are sorry for any inconvenience you experienced due to the unplanned lift breakdown and the credit card issue. Fortunately, the lift breakdown was only minor and was back in service later that same day :)
We do need the credit card to complete the pre-authorisation transaction and transmit the funds which were pledged to us at check-in. From experience, most transactions work as intended though It appears that some times the bank will send the requested funds and the pre authorised funds additionally remain frozen for some time. Unfortunately, this is a banking issue and not as a result of us charging the credit card twice (we certainly don't receive the funds twice). We are able to assist on those occasions when this occurs and ask guests to contact us so we can then inform the bank the transaction has been completed and the frozen funds should be released. Even this however may take the banks from 24 to 48 hours to complete - so I do wonder what they are doing with the money if our guests don't have it and we haven't had it either?
Car parking is on a first come first in basis and at some peak times not all guest's are able to park on hotel property. To alleviate some of these time's we are implementing a ticket/voucher system for House Guests to display in their cards. Anyone not displaying a voucher will be fined by a monitoring company and we are hopeful this will free up additional parking spots from non authorised people using our car park.
I hope the above assists and I do hope you will come back and stay with us again in future.

Ground floor staff need a re-training on customer service and attention. Front desk's only answer to anything is NO. We arrived at 10 and realized we were early for check in, but there's a nice way to handle this. They would not call/text us when the room became available, ad we had an international number?!?! No coffee/beverages available outside restaurant hours, and we tried twice. On a positive note, the cleaning staff were friendly and accommodating. This is NOT a 4 or 4.5 star hotel, and I chose it based upon rating and a couple reviews. I will do deeper research next time. Air conditioning unit is basically off or on, temp control is very poor

Thanks for choosing to stay with us. We are sorry for any inconvenience you may have experienced.
Check-in is guaranteed from 2pm to allow sufficient time for cleaning of the rooms from previous guests. When possible, we do endeavour to accommodate earlier check ins and advise the guest when the room is ready, however early check-ins are discretionary and dependant upon several factors including availability and housekeeping services.
I am pleased to advise that after hearing the feedback given on your checkout of your unavailability to get a coffee (as there were no food and beverage staff on duty at the time), we are undertaking additional staff training and amending our services so coffee's, and selected other beverages, will be available throughout the day.

Booked via wotif mystery room, so price was really good. Stayed 4 nights, 2 of which were public holidays. No room service on public holidays but fresh towels provided. Facilities fine, location quiet and handy via tram to most things. Staff pleasant. Better restaurants than this one within close walking distance.

Like many hotels now, this year we have implemented a Public Holiday "On Request" service for housekeeping. We provide fresh towell's and amenities for stay over guest's unless they have specifically requested a normal service on the Public Holiday as outlined in their welcome letter. This is proving to be an effective way to keep pricing affordable and reasonable at time's when our costs are unavoidably significantly higher. The feedback from guest's so far has been positive of this initiative however we will continue to monitor this to ensure expectations and the overall guest experience is not unduly compromised.
