I have stayed here a few times now when I come down from the country for a weekend in town. The staff are always friendly, the rooms are nice and the hotel is perfectly quiet to get a good nights sleep. Would recommend to anyone staying in Adelaide for a night or two going on a wine tour/Adelaide Oval etc.

My Mum and I travelled to Adelaide for the football and stayed a couple of days over the weekend, the staff were SUPER helpful, we arrived early and they provided us with a room well before normal check in time, they also assisted with booking a tour of Barossa Valley and all other questions/requested we had were answered willingly, ideally located in North Adelaide, close to many shops restuarants and bars and just a short walk to Adelaide Oval, it was a great weekend, thank you to all the staff! Great Hotel!

My husband and i stayed in August 2014 and got a $104 room package from wotif. It included room, continental breakfast for 2, car parking and a bottle of wine which was a bargain for a night out without the kids. The receptionst was very friendly and helpful, there were no car parks left when we got there so he said we could park out the front near the steps or double park at the end of the car park and leave our keys with him which was helpful. Room was very comfortable and clean. Yes it was a little outdated but it added to the charm of the hotel it had everything we needed. Fridge with minibar, kettle, ironing board, shower over bath, toiletries. Continental breakfast was ecellent which included toast, danishes, scones, cakes, muffins, biscuits, cheese, yoghurt, up and go, juice, tea and coffee, sliced meats they even had prepackaged things like muffins for kids, lcms, rollups, musli bars which was a nice touch, we could have had a cooked breakfast for an extra $5 but the continental was plenty. Overall we had a great stay at this hotel for the night.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 204

Hotel is quite adequate and comfortable and in a great location. However its definitely time for a refurbishment. Very old and tired décor. Not bad for noise. Not the usual plumbing noise you get at a lot of hotels.

We stayed at this hotel after buying the Cudo Voucher. The deal included delicious Choc dipped strawberries, and a bottle of red wine. We also had a buffet continental breakfast included. For an extra $5 each we could have the cooked breakfast, but the continental was plenty, and delicious. We booked the spa room which was upstairs, but it is only a short climb. The room was great. We had dinner in the Snooty Fox restaurant and the food was fantastic, but way too much. The recorded music left a lot to be desired! The staff were all very friendly and helpful as well. We will go back again.

My Husband and I stayed at this hotel for my Birthday after buying the Cudo Voucher. It was an excellent night. the deal included Choc dipped strawberries, YUM!!! and a bottle of red wine. But that's not all there was also a buffet breakfast continental style and an extra $5 each we could have the cooked breakfast. It was great value. The room we stayed in was perfect because I always want a couch to sit on. It had a balcony so my husband could have a cigarette too. A 25% off offer was in their Snooty Fox restaurant which we ate at dinner and it was the best food with live band playing jazz and classics like New York, New York. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We found out the band is playing there on the first Saturday of the month so we will be aiming to go back again. Our night at The Old Adelaide Inn really was a wonderful night and I highly recommend this place. Sorry no pictures but the pictures on their website are exactly what it looks like and the Snooty Fox Restaurant is very elegant with a nice lounge area to have a drink in.

Room Tip: We had an upstairs room with a balcony but be mindful there is no lift, so if you have waking diffic...

This hotel is in a great location but the rooms really need a revamp and maintenance. Our room was dark and smelt musty, the taps dripped and the carpet and couch were VERY grubby.
Nice friendly staff

Room Tip: Ask for one away from kitchen and covered walkway...too dark and noisy.
