We had a nice steak dinner at Gauchos. The meat was the best we had during our four weeks stay in Aussie. The restaurant was busy and therefore a bit noisy for my taste. We asked the waitress about the wine list, but she told us to wait for the sommelier (or at least we thought so). He recommended two different wines based on personal experience, and none of them lived up to our expectations. And why on earth do they serve red wine at room temperature - about 25 degrees? Any serious restaurant should know better than to keep and serve red wine at room temp in the midst of summer in Adelaide, it is not supposed to be lukewarm!
