The Adelaide food scene continues to thrive - never been to Georges before but conveniently located in central Adelaide. Food is great, service excellent and good value. There were 3 of us, we asked to share starters and they were then served up as a sharing plate - surprisingly for me the eggplant was the winner. For mains you must try the pressed lamb, there are plenty of other offerings but of our 3 mains this was the #1. What was also great was the service, not perfect but very genuine and the staff were interested in what they were doing, to the extent of making useful suggestions, including trying the black sherry. Just one warning, the Grappa and coffee is great, but the grappa is a genrous dash - enjoy.
