We had a great stay. A beautifully presented home with everything we needed. Edward greeted us on our arrival and explained everything we needed to know. Its a perfect location, we were able to walk to the Zoo and Botanic Gardens and into town. Public Transport is almost on the doorstep. We would recommend it to anyone and would stay there again.
A fantastic, comfortable place to stay within walking distance to the CBD. We were greeted by Edward on arrival and we were presented with a spotless house with a great layout and garden area. Would easily book again when our next trip to Adelaide comes around.
Edward is a fantastic host, met us on arrival and took the time to walk us through the house and make sure we knew how to use all appliances etc. the house itself is beautiful and it was perfectly suited to our needs - an extended family in town to enjoy a music festival. The location was also excellent, close to the centre of town, shops and the festival location. We will definitely be back!
Right from booking Edward was more than helpful and approachable. He enabled early check in and met us at the house and made us feel at home from the start. Home was in the perfect location - walk to the city easily and bus at the bottom of the road.
Highly recommend for a stay in Adelaide for families or friends.
7 of our family members ( 6 adults and one 22-month toddler) stayed here for 2 nights. My family was from everywhere, as the trip planner, I had to make sure everything goes well. Four months prior to this family trip, I found 8 Osborne. Because of my baby nephew, safety of the house was the most important thing I had to consider. During my over 10 back and forth e-mails with Edward, he was so patient answering my every question and trying very hard to find solutions for everything. He even installed a new child safety gate between the kitchen and living area just for us. Be honest, I was already very touched by his sincerity at the point.
The day we arrived 8 Osborne, Edward personally waited for us in the house and spent 20 minutes to explain everything about the house and surrounding area. Both inside and outside of the house was spotless (even all the wine glasses were shining), full appliances (anything you can think of), the most comfortable beds..., but when I saw powerpoint protect covers on all the powerpoint which were reachable by the baby, I was really moved by the thoughtful movements.
The part of the house our family liked the most was probably the back yard deck. We had our breakfasts and BBQ dinners there both days.
8 Osborne is probably the best holiday rental place I've ever stayed. House itself is excellent, but what really matters is the warm hospitality the house and the host gives me.
I only have one small suggestion to give to Edward: Your house is a lot bigger and much nicer than the pictures show on the web. Maybe it's time to update the photos?!
Thank you Edward, and I hope we will have chance to stay here again!
This house is simply wonderful, a home away from home with all the facilities one could hope for. The location is excellent with only a short walk from the Botanical Gardens and Adelaide City Centre. Allan is the perfect host, and made us feel very welcome. I can recommend this house to any group or family travelling to Adelaide.

We stayed for 5 nights with our family of 6 when holidaying in Adelaide. Osbourne St is within walking distance of the Zoo, Botanic Gardens and Rundle Mall. The owners were terrific, meeting us to let us in, late at night. They even supplied the basics for our first breakfast, as they knew we had our kids with us and were arriving late. In fact the house comes with lots of extras, like washing powder, cling wrap, dishwashing detergent etc - all those things that are not normally supplied but that are a pain to buy when you've only got a short stay. The house is a beautiful heritage house, lots of space (including 2 living areas) and all the mod cons.We managed to be in Adelaide during one of the biggest storms in 50 years but felt safe and snug. Would happily stay again if we head to Adelaide.
