Danny met myself and two other travelers off the bus. He was friendly and helpful, allowing us to get settled before checking in. After we'd paid up he gave us town maps and took the time to explain which were the best attractions and which were free.
Don't forget this place is called a bunkhouse, as that's exactly what it is. Reminds me of an old-style school dorm. If you're looking for fancy, I recommend you stay out of the desert, or get a motel room. If you're looking for cheap (cheap for rural, not city) and basic, you'll find it here. The toilet and shower are fine, both were clean when we arrived.
In short, I was quite comfortable here and have no problems recommending it to anyone prepared to go basic.
