We stayed at the Stuart Range Caravan Park after travelling through Uluru and Alice Springs. I understand that water is scarce but as others had said the fact that you put 20c in the slot and only got a tepid shower was disapointing. The sites are basic, they need to be raked to take away the larger stones so it is a bit more even at your caravan door. Overall we felt safe and were pleased to have somewhere decent to stay after experiencing some very basic facilities in other parks. I think we often forget how isolated places like Cooper Pedy are and the fact that people are happy to live there and offer a service is appreciated, I know I couldn't live in some of the most out of way places. Good luck!
