“Greek tasty meat”
Reviewed 24 April 2014 via mobile

After a long bike ride from William Ceeek, a Greek feast is what you need. Unpretentious tasty Greek mix grill . Don't bring your own wine there is a $10 charge. But there's plenty to choose from. Food is tasty and service is fast. Kali Orexi.

We weren't expecting a Greek restaurant in Coober Pedy and we arrived on a busy night and the found us a table. The service was very friendly and the food tasty.

“Nice Food--skip the house wine.”
Reviewed 22 April 2014

There seems to be a lot of Greeks in this small town, so it shouldn't be surprising one of the more popular restaurants in a greek one. We were told by some locals "It's good, but not AS good", meaning the former owners were better cooks. We enjoyed our meal very much we shared the trio of dips, chicken soulvaki, garlic prawns and market fresh fish with lemon and garlic. The included salad was great--and the chips weren't bad (although, very surprising). We thought we'd take a chance with the house wines--dry red and dry white. Bad idea. both were sweet and not to our liking. We suggest getting a branded bottle of wine. (we'd been enjoying much wine on our trip throughout Australia, including various 'house wines', this was our first bad experience with the hooch).

Read other reviews, and they were right about the chips! Tried the mousakka, dips, prawns, all great. Went back there for another night.
