Hugo's B & B was ever ything we were hoping for during our stay in the Tasmanian winter. We stayed in the 2 bedrrom apartment with another couple and found it to be warm, clean and comfortable. It was close to everywhere we needed to be in and around Hobart. Would definitley recommend for a family of 4 or 2 couples if youre happy to push 2 single beds together in the 2nd bedroom. The hosts are very friendly and happy to help out in any way they can.

Hugo's is situated in an elevated position above Sandy Bay with magnificent views over the Derwent to the Tasman Bridge. Dora and Danie are to be congratulated on their wonderful apartments with everything that you could wish for. All the provisions for breakfast are provided and the wonderful kitchen has very modern top-notch equipment, so if you want to cook up a feast then it's all there.
The bathroom was superb too - big isn't the word - huge would be a better description! 2 vanity basins, a great shower, washing machine and dryer.
Bedrooms and beds were very comfortable and a good amount of room. There was a good selection of Austar channels of TV if you got sick of looking out from the balcony or were too tired to do much after sightseeing.
All in all, we had a great stay here and would thoroughly recommend Hugo's to anyone.
N.B. the steps leading down to the unit are steep, so may not suit the infirm or elderly.
