We stopped here after a day out, and initially were a little reluctant because we had the kids with us. It didn't matter, the staff were friendly and helpful, even gave the kids a little treat the keep them occupied. Nice atmosphere, good service and great coffee. Couldn't ask for more.

Had a fantastic breakfast here on a Sunday. Coffees were good, nowhere near the calibre that we experienced at pilgrim. But the food-awesome! I had the kimchi pancake which was amazing, and a pretty big serve size-drool. Wifey had the bubble and squeak- again delicious and a generous portion. Will be back next time we're in hobart!

My partner and I cannot get enough of this place. Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch and even a tasty afternoon snack just hits the spot for our tummies each time. We sometimes cannot go without a week to visit this special place. :) Coffee/Hot drinks always amazing, food is always exciting when their Blackboard specials change but nothing quite beats their delicious PLT sandwich (crispy Pork Belly, Lettuce and special tomato relish style dipping sauce). The atmosphere inside is so inviting and warm(sometimes gets too warm!) except peak hours, can actually get quite busy and have to wait for a table/chairs but if you book in advance, you'll be fine. If the Tassie weather ever lets you down, just head to Ginger Brown as they will indulge you in homemade gourmets all year round! :) (Maybe except Mondays, they are closed... aww)

Had coffee here and backed up for lunch twice and an afternoon tea. Very impressive - the staff here love what they do and it shows in the quality of their food and coffee. A mistake in service was quickly and cheerfully corrected. Not cheap, but good value, lots of variety and a great atmosphere.

A great place for a snack or takeaway if you are doing your laundry as I was--got a good coffee and a very good homemade muffin, AND change for the drier.
