My husband and I flew into Melaleuca for a fantastic few days aboard Helsal IV on the Australia Day long weekend, it was just amazing! The yacht, crew, food, wine, rare birds, history and the sheer majesty of the World Heritage area were overwhelming. It was a trip we won't forget. Mark and the crew had a great knowledge of the area and this enhanced our experience. We loved the trip up the Davey River as well as beauty of the Breaksea Islands and Port Davey area. It was hard to say what we loved most but we just could not believe that we saw the Orange Belly Parrots as well as all the other birdlife pointed out to us by our guides. This was a unique experience that we would recommend to anyone who would appreciate the untouched beauty of the Port Davey, Bathurst Harbour and Southwest Wilderness area. Just go!
