We liked this place so much that we extended our stay by two days to six. We arrived in August 2014 and stayed in room 41 on the fourth floor. We are an older couple, and probably harder to please than most, especially if we feel that value-for-money is not being had. The good news is that the Fountainside met all our needs. A most comfortable bed, with the choice of a feather pillow from reception. I was a little worried about the prospect of traffic noise, but there was none that we could hear, and we both slept very well. Breakfast is piping hot and with a good variety of cooked items. We decided to try eating there for dinner, and found the food is prepared very well, so much so that we ate there the whole time as we found most tend to do. The wines are reasonably priced - very reasonable, with a good range to choose from. All in all, one of the best Australian experiences we have had. Thoroughly recommended !!
