My family stayed here for 2 nights during our visit to Hobart. A good choice as far as motels go. My room had 2 large queen beds, a small fridge, toaster and tea/coffee making facilities. A good size bathroom and wardrobe. It also has coin-operated washers/dryers. It's location right on Sandy Bay Road makes it very convenient. Close to everything. Restaurants, shops, Coles, hairdressing salons, newsagents and banks. The airport-city shuttle can drop/pick u up from here.
Overall, a good place for a short stay.

Room Tip: The motel has no lifts. It has a ramp leading to the upper floor.

Nothing flash but clean and quite at night. Hidden away in shopping centre. Lots of parking. Rooms are very basic with bathrooms having been refurbished. Best thing is it had lots of small restaurants attached.20 minute walk to the city and 15 minute walk to Salamanca. Good to stay at but others in town may be better.

Found this place while searching the net for accommodation then friends travelling around Tassie were also staying there and recommended it. A great little gem tucked away on Sandy Bay Road. Reviews also helped with our decision. Room was fresh and clean but beds a little hard for my liking but my husband thought they were ok. Excellent location with great shops and food outlets/restaurants within walking distance. Very hand having Coles close by as well. Electric blankets would have been nice as it was very cold in Hobart during our stay but the split system worked well to compensate. Guest laundry was free to use but is also used by the hotel - unfortunately I got it at the wrong time as the hotel laundering was being done at the time I wanted to use it so there was a bit of waiting; staff were very accommodating though. Friendly staff and I would definately recommend it. Very good value for money in such a great location.

Room Tip: We had a corner room with 2 x queen sized beds; very quiet.

Tucked away in Mayfair Plaza this gem could be overlooked. Rooms are above average size, beds extremely comfortable and the housekeeping is faultless. Staff make you feel special and are always on hand to offer any help required to make your stay in Hobart memorable. This visit we also had our family of 4 from interstate and they were thrilled with the large family room. We have returned on several occasions making it our "city stay" when coming from the country. Being in the heart of Sandy Bay it is surrounded by every eatery imaginable, all within a few minutes walking distance. Highly recommended!

Room Tip: Don't worry, all are good....but no inspiring views.

Our experience was consistent with other reviews here. Late check-in worked well & room was pre-heated. Obliging staff enabled keeping same room for an extra night. This hotel seems to be an older mall of small shops and consulting rooms converted to bedrooms, so most rooms have large fixed plate glass windows fronting a secure internal arcade. A little odd but it gives an added sense of security. There is a bottle shop and several restaurants below, which is convenient. We walked to Salamanca markets via the foreshore on Sat morning and returned via Battery Point which was a pleasant hike.
