We stayed in a harbour view room with a spa and the room was lovely with a great view onto the harbour, the room had exposed stone, beams and a great bathroom. The bathroom had Molten Brown products which are just lovely and a real winner.
The hotel it's self is an adventure with corridors filled with wonderful art. We took advantage of the art tour that is complimentary for hotel guests. Emma the guide was wonderful as she talked us through the history of the building. The hotel is right on the waterfront and is quirky, warm and inviting with an amazing cocktail bar.
There are 2 downsides to this hotel that we found. The first was the pillows on the bed aren't comfortable- fix this by ordering the smaller more comfortable pillows from reception. 2nd is the blinds on the window don't keep out much light, if you are easily woken by the light take an eye mask.
I would stay here again and I would recommend this as a hotel to anyone looking for a fun getaway with a difference.More
