We as a family went to Tosteree last year not knowing what to expect. What we found was amazing accommodation, wonderful views, fantastic hosts and a great family farm getaway.

The Shearers shed was amazing. The bathrooms were modern and exceptionally clean.

Our border collie (farm dog) had a great time with Bobby the wonder dog... But was a real city dog and scared of the sheep.

We can't wait to go back.

See you soon, The Devine family.

If your wanting a wonderful family holiday this is the perfect spot! The cottages was perfect for our family of 6, our four teenage children loved exploring the farm, going on the quad bikes, using the taverns games and facilities and being close to the beach for swimming and fishing.

The cottage was very clean and the hosts supplied us with fresh eggs straight from the chook pen for breakfast! The hosts are very welcoming and friendly and were more than happy to supply us with everything we needed. We enjoyed a night at the Tavern on the property. We highly recommended this holiday spot!!

We have enjoyed every moment of our stay so much in Tostaree. Its perfect for a holiday especially if you have 3 hyperactive kids like ours.Everything has been so nice. We would like to thank especially Bobby for his warm company all the time that he gave us.
(Bobby is the dog in Tostaree and he is the best ball fetcher we have ever seen)
We will miss your hospitality and good times that we spent here as a family.Your beautiful farm, twinkling night sky and the relaxing farm view gave a chance for me and my husband to refresh with some romance.

We are looking forward to coming back here for another holiday.
Thanks Greg and Vicki

Tostaree Cottages is a gorgeous, peaceful, hospitable, relaxing place to visit! You can not picture it’s sheer beauty until you see it. My husband, puppy and I have recently returned from a long weekend at Tostaree and can honestly say we didn’t want to come home. We didn’t realize from the photos alone how incredibly peaceful and stunning the surroundings were. We were quite isolated and it was fantastic as it felt like it was just us in the whole world and gave us a real sense of homeliness.

The cottages themselves are so cute and well set out. There is plenty of space for you to take an entire family!! In the Drovers Cottage where we stayed, the lounge had huge windows looking out over this amazing countryside and we spent hours just snuggled up on the couch and looking out over it all. There are also fireplaces in each cottage and that really made us feel cosy, especially on a cold night. Although we did have TV and DVD facilities, we spent hours just watching the fire and playing games, it was everything a country getaway should be!

Greg and Vicky, the owners, were so friendly and hospitable we felt like we had known them forever. They lent us a Quad bike to drive around on and explore the farm, which was great as we could really see every bit of the 200+ acres. We drove up hills and took hundreds of photos of stunning views and gorgeous landscapes. We also spent an evening in front of the huge fireplace in the Tavern, having a few quiet beers and then later a BBQ. It was so homely and warm!

I can highly recommend these cottages to any one just wanting to get away from it all. You come back feeling so relaxed and full of fresh air. For those that want more to keep busy during the day there is plenty to do including fishing, surfing, cycling, bushwalking and a stunning beach only about 10mins away. It is also extremely close to the busy Lakes Entrance, which makes for a nice day trip. Greg pointed us in the direction of this gorgeous town called Metung about 20mins away and we had a lovely meal and watched a great band down there on the Sunday afternoon as well.

Thanks to Greg and Vicky for a fantastic weekend away. You made us feel right at home and allowed us to really unwind, which is exactly what we needed. The fact that we could bring our dog as well was a huge plus for us and he also thoroughly enjoyed himself! It’s funny how we spend so much money and time travelling the world and trying to see all these different places, but we very rarely stop to explore our own beautiful country. And it really is beautiful.

We stayed at Tostaree Cottages and were so happy with the friendly service. The Drovers cottage is located on a secluded area of the farm and sitting on the verandah with a wine was very relaxing. Our kids were entertained with the hire of 2 quad bikes also yabbying in the dam close by.
We were provided with all we needed it was clean and very spacious. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away from it all to just relax.

If you want peace and quiet, this is the place. The kids loved the farm animals. The landscape is beautiful. I loved sitting out the front of our cottage at night and just absorbing the quiet. Our Shearers Cottage was large enough to sleep 7. It could sleep much more than that! The fire place was much appreciated. However, the bed sheets and covers were dusty and so was the floor. One of the rooms nearest the sheep pen smelt. It was a bit pricey at AUD60 per adult. No breakfast was provided. There were only tea/coffee facilities. The owner was very friendly and accommodating.

G'day thanks for your review we are pleased that you enjoyed the quiet pace of our farm. Although i am dissappointed that you were unhappy with the condition of our cottage and would have appreciated you speaking to us personally rather than post this comment. We would be more than happy to have you visit us again sometime as we believe our cottages are of a high standard.
Regards
Greg
