We loved our stay at Waterford Apartments. We booked a 1 bedroom luxury apartment for 2 nights, and a 3 bedroom luxury apartment for the third night as the kids were coming to meet us in Melbourne for a night. We arrived and were informed that we had been upgraded to the 3 bedroom apartment for the full 3 nights so we didn't have to move all our luggage for the third night. We were informed on checkin that there had been an accident where glass had been broken in the pool, so it was out of order, but there was still access to the spa sauna and steam room, which were very relaxing. The apartments are more than I expected, with all the comforts of home. Full kitchen with quality appliances, plenty of room for the whole family in the living area with a very comfy couch, and stylish bathrooms. The bedrooms can be configured as required, single beds or king bed etc. The balcony was amazing.. I couldn't believe how big it was! It was bigger than some people's courtyards! Overlooking the southbank strip, opposite DFO, you could walk everywhere. Would definitely visit again.
Excellent location for shopping and to do business. This apartment has everything you need, friendly staff and great views in a very safe location in Melbourne.
This is the 3rd time we've stayed at Waterfront Apartments. We have really enjoyed it every time and found the rooms to be very generous, extremely well presented, and overall great value.
Having an event at the Expo Centre means the apartments are just a 100m walk away, you can't get any better.
Highly recommended, will stay here again for sure.
We rented the three bedroom apartment, it had a spacious living area, full kitchen and huge bathrooms. Balcony was also big and a great place to sit in the morning sun. Pool on the ground level was also huge. Easy access to the car park on the same level, which made unloading and loading the car quick and easy. Across a walk bridge to South Wharf DFO and restaurants. 10 minute walk to Etihad. . It is in a quiet but very convenient location. Clean and well maintained Only complaint would be the mattresses were a little hard.
The location is very good within walking distance to Melbourne's main railway station and close to a number of tram routes. There are nearby restaurants on both sides of the river. The apartment has a balcony with room for a six seat dining setting. The apartment overall has generous space.
