This place was great- excellent location 1 block from Melbourne Central, trams right on your door step, very safe location (security cameras outside and surrounding streets), Gloria jeans across the road and Vic Markets 2 blocks away. Room was great with laundry and kitchen in room and I found it larger than a normal hotel room but slightly smaller than an apartment. Was perfect for my son and I. Single beds do come at an extra cost and would be pretty small (I had the double which was two singles together) very comfy tho. Ladies attitude was fine, not friendly but not rude. Shower does leak but that's due to choice of door design not something they can help and did have a line of mould in the corner which I didn't like. Loved spending our 7 day holiday here tho especially for the great price. Will definitely stay here again.

My friend and I stayed for 6 nights whilst holidaying in Melbourne. We had a 1 bedroom apartment which was well equipped with a small kitchen and sitting area. The position was great, being close to transport, restaurants, markets etc. Price was very competitive and our apartment was recently refurbished. Our only complaint was the building site close by which was at times noisy as they continued work into the night on a few occasions. Overall, for the price and location, I would be happy to stay again.

Excellent location, with tram at your door. Great security! Well equipped. Çomfy beds, but earplugs reccommended.Overall it was clean, but dirty armchairs either needed cleaning or replacing. At booking I thought i paid for a 1 bedroom, that is suppose to sleep 3, only to be told i would have to pay extra for 3rd bed to be made up. When i tried to question this the ladie on the desk was extremely rude and seemed like it was a bother for her to have to go and get extra housekeeping items to accomodate us. Delivered a badly stained blanket to us and carried on with her rudeness, to my teenage daughter and friend.. Unit was small, but really we were only in it to sleep. Also Power points in strange places, under benchtops and under bathroom sink.If you want clean towels, you have to wash them in your apartment or pay for the service. Parking bay outfront is non-excistant during peak times. I had to park in a laneway next to rubbish bins to drop our bags off. Lukily the gentleman on desk was alot more heplful than his rude collegue and offerd to carry our bags up to room. Offsite parking, is not the one closest to apartment, but accross the lane and about 4 doors up. The daily fee is another pricey fee i was not expecting, but there is a parking attendant to park your car during peak times. It shuts at 7.00pm, however you do get an after-hours key to come and go.

Room Tip: Earplugs a must! Travel light or make sure your luggage is on wheels. Make sure you ask about parkin...

The hotel room is clean, small and does the job for overnight business travel. The location is perfect as the big shopping complex is a 2 min walk with a Fitness First and a massive food court that opens late. Limited time frame to check out (8.30am was the earliest).

Myself and a colleague stayed here while visiting Darwin for a course. We requested the twin beds option at booking, only to find out at check-in that there was a charge for this which wasn't highlighted previously. I found the lady at check-in to be rude and apathetic which didn't give a good impression at the outset. She rushed through advice/info about the room, how to find the extension lead to reach the power points in the kitchen (!?!?!), bins etc as if she really couldn't be bothered. Maybe she was having a bad day, but very unprofessional in a hospitality industry!
The room itself (1 bedroom apartment) was spacious enough but lacking in a number of areas. The kitchen was ill-equipped for cooking with only one frying pan and one small pot that had both seen better days! The fridge had a very strong smell of sour milk or cheese presumably from a previous occupant. The sofabed/couch and 2 armchairs in the seating area were adequate but there was no dining table/chairs to eat meals at. Despite having a decent washing machine which was very useful, there was nowhere to hang your clothes to dry such as a folding clothes maiden (not so useful!). The bathroom was a decent size but the shower was pretty tight with mould and peeling ceiling paint - which needed addressing! Our twin beds which we had to pay an additional $25 for the privilege of having instead of sharing a double bed were the narrowest single beds I have ever seen. Despite being comfy enough, they appeared to be more suited to a small child and what I would consider to be comparable to a child's first bed when they're progressed from a cot! As 2 very normal size 10/12 women, these beds posed a definite "fall out of bed risk" for any adult! The reception opening hours are very limited which was inconvenient on our last day when we still had to attend our course and didn't have the option of leaving our luggage in storage until later that day.
Overall, I feel the 1 bedroom apartment was lacking in it's purpose as a self-contained accommodation. I doubt we will be looking to stay here again in the future!

We needed somewhere to stay that was within walking distance to many attractions, this we got !
the Apartment was very clean big enough for two, decorated very modern.the locker system was great for storing our luggage and staff were very helpful and accommodating nothing was a problem. the only thing was we did not receive fresh towels as we only stayed two nights (was unaware of this), but there are facilities to wash and dry them in the rooms. Bed was very comfortable.

Found this hotel and booked via their webpage, they had great room rates. The room was small but big enough. The hotel is opposite a nightclub and has very poor soundproofing. Every night, I could just hear cars go by, and the nightclub music pumping away, and you can hear drunk people yelling out at night too.

I could even hear street sweeper vehicles in the morning. The shower wasn't great and water leaked into the rest of the bathroom from the gap in the shower door. When I went to the reception to tell them about it, i was told that maintenance weren't working that day and they gave me some extra towels to soak up the exceess water.

So overall, decent enough furnishings. But hearing cars go past all night and morning and the leaking shower just wasn't my cup of tea. Great if you just want cheap accomodation in the city, but you might need ear plugs to sleep!
