Ideal if you are going to events at the MCG. Located opposite the Jolimont train station, you can easily get here via public transport - train or tram.
Carparking is extra and limited spaces available.
Rooms are high end although starting to show their age a bit.
Super efficient reception staff.

You will hear traffic from the street and trains passing all night and day. The out dated bathrooms are in a poor state and not clean at all. The bath tub enamel is chipping off and toilet bowel had stains-not well cleaned . On the upside the beds are firm, big and comfortable .

Hotels everywhere in the world provide free internet for thier guests and this hotel still apply charges for using the internet.
And as a joke they give you 30 minutes free connection at the lobby ..
impressive

A wonderful hotel out of the city bustle but still easily walkable into the centre of Melbourne. The room was spacious with a great view over the city. Spotless clean with good amenities. Also a great location close to the MCG and tennis centre for sports and entertainment events. Car parking was a bit overpriced for guests but public transport is available close by.

I’m not convinced that the room we stayed in on the 11th floor was of Pullman standard. The bathroom felt like it hadn’t been renovated since the Hilton days. The shower was over a small bath, with the taps inconveniently located at bath tap level. The toilet had a lever which needed to be held down to flush, and for quite a while too. It was also leaking from the lever. It felt old and tatty.

The beds were extremely comfortable and the curtains were of very good block out quality. Overall the standard was ok. But as Accor members some of the normal things on arrival were missing, no chocolates, no wifi password.

The public areas on our floor did not look like they were vacuumed the whole time we were there and the walls are knocked around, a very grungy feel.

However, the downstairs area is lovely. We had excellent service at the bar and also at breakfast. The bar snacks were delicious and breakfast buffet was of a good standard.

Not sure if I would choose to stay here again, primarily due to the room quality.
