Great spot - room overlooking Albert Park was great - spacious and welcoming - very modern buy quiet even though its a busy location. Staff were very welcoming despite it being a busy long weekend. Retuarant was very good for breakfast and dinners. Lounge furniture is modern but not practicle so we didn't utilie the lobby as we should. Overall very good.

Stayed for a conference and found the hotel very comfortable. The rooms are recently refurbished, generous in size and have comfortable beds. No bath but lovely big shower with good water pressure. Highlight was the service - without doubt some of the best service I've received in years at an Australian hotel. Only downside is that the hotel feels a bit remote from everything - you need to take transport to get to shops, bars or restaurant. Luckily the restaurant onsite is very good and room service is also.

Stayed at the Pullman Hotel Melbourne for an overnight business trip. My room was comfortable and clean. The only thing that wasn't as great was the location. It is a bit far from other amenities but I did realise this before I booked. For those looking for more convenience that you would get in the CBD this may not be the place for you, but if you are working on St.Kilda Road or if you are staying for the Grand Prix I would recommend this hotel.

We had an overnight stay at this relatively newly refurbished hotel.

The check-in process was speedy and efficient.

The room was very pleasant with two double beds. It seemed that the hotel, though with hints of an old past, has been recently refurbished. The toilets were very clean and the decor was very chic.

We dined at the Restaurant for a buffet dinner (only offered on weekends) and although there wasn't a huge variety of food on offer, it was fresh and tasty. The chef manning the station was very accommodating (we asked for plain rice, and he brought it to our table!). The desserts were very high quality and helped set an overall good impression of the buffet meal. It is a little bit expensive, but given the fact that fresh seafood was on offer, it is appropriately so.

We used the indoor heated pool and it seemed a little small, given the size of the hotel. Perhaps the fact that we had a whole team of AFL footy players 'recovering' in inflatable ice pools and then at the Jacuzzi made pool seem smaller. However, they are just as entitled to used the facilities as I would imagine they are paying guests of the hotel too!

My wife ordered some fish and chips from the room service menu and it was fresh and tasty.

The buffet breakfast was very sufficient. Again, our experience was like the buffet dinner experience the night before, there wasn't a lot in terms of variety, but the point was that the food was fresh and tasty. The fact that they had a self-serve coffee machine with the option of DIY takeaway coffee in coffee cups was perfect for guests on the go.

My wife and son had a very enjoyable stroll around Albert Park lake.

Checkout was very much like the check-in process where it was fast, friendly and efficient.

Overall, a great stay for the price but the location of the hotel would be bothersome if you did not have a car.

We opted for the unlimited entry/exit valet parking option as this was most cost effective option for multiple entires throughout our stay.

Room Tip: Higher levels are definitely better. Ask for a lake view room, if possible.

small room. Not good value for the $165 a night, considering you have to pay $30 per head for breakfast, pay for the use of the internet and pay for parking. Too far out of the city to walk, but trams from St Kilda Road at the back of the motel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of Albert Park when you book.
