Stayed for three nights on business recently. Everything good, squeaky clean, nice bed etc. My small double was perfect for one, even for two people would be fine.
A big person would struggle with the petite shower door opening.
Used the restaurant twice for dinner, little Irish girl was lovely. Several other restaurants nearby. Also plenty of hotels in the vicinity, some of which I've stayed in with a heftier price tag.
I'd recommend the hotel to anyone with a reason to be in that area of of the city, though if in Melbourne to visit the sights try their Cosmopolitan Hotel in St Kilda or somewhere in the Bourke St vicinity. I always ask for a quiet room in the city.More
