We had a couple of hours to spare before we had to head to the airport and this was a great way to spend it. Awesome dinosaurs, creepy bugs and so many other interesting things to look at. Great cafe as well for a bite to eat

We moved to Melbourne from Perth 17 years ago and it’s taken me 17 years to go to the Melbourne Museum what an idiot I am.

The Melbourne Museum is absolutely fantastic it really is a place for all ages in particular children could spend all day there it’s educational and fun.

We went to see an exhibition about the 60s and 70s and ended up going through the entire museum spending about four hours.

The shop is exceptional there’s also a quiet room it really is an exceptionally good place to visit and I highly recommend it for locals and visitors alike.

‘You say you want a revolution’ is an exhibition at Melbourne Museum that takes a close look at ‘records and rebels 1966-1970’. Golden years of everything from the Beatles and the Stones, moon landing, hippies, Vietnam war, feminism and gay and black power to consumerism. The music and visuals sing to us. Woodstock! I have to admit it’s particularly entrancing to those who lived through those years but also an education to those who are younger. Impressive smart phones (free on entry) pick up wherever you are at and broadcast music and commentary of the time of the exhibit you are in front of or surrounded by.
On until 6 October 2019.

A rich museum. If you want to meet dinosaurs, this is the place. A great place to learn a lot about people and life in Australia.
