The museum provided lots of information about the past Melbourne and the culture. The other exhibits are also informative especially the mind and body. There's an outdoor exhibit as well with birds flying around.

This museum is so well curated that you feel as if you are living through the stories in the exhibits, not just looking at old, “stuff.”

The First Peoples rom is filled with Aboriginal items and people telling stories and the exhibit has been de-colonized, which makes it even better.

The Forest Gallery is a must see. Take a minute to unwind and relax.

We saw the Revolution retrospective which was marvelous.

Fantastic museum that is easy to get to via the tram from the city, which stops right out the front. Very helpful and friendly staff. The exhibition itself was amazing and very easy to access and enjoy. It would be easy to stay for hours. Admission also gives you access to the rest of the museum. I had lunch at the small cafe. Staff were very helpful and friendly - especially the young man cleaning the tables. Would visit again next time I am in Melbourne.

If you lived through the 60's its a must to visit the museum for this exhibition. All that great music, changing times, protests....it was happening. The music album covers were fantastic to flick through.....still have the originals in a cupboard....the Vietnam story and the clothes. A must see for those who lived through these times.
