“2 night escape”

Enjoyed the room that was beautifully clean with a lovely city view. Service was a high standard although room service dinner was rather cold. Easy tram ride to the city. We have stayed here before and will return.
Note: Make sure you ask the reception where to buy a myki tram ticket before using tram system.

Room Tip: We always ask for a room with city views.

From the minute my husband and I arrived, nothing was left undone. Glen, one of the Room Service folk, was most attentive, and to that I give him kudos. Absolutely taken with the decor and cleanliness of the room. We stayed 2 nights. The food from room service was out of this world in creativeness and taste. We didn't have to wait long periods of time either for our food to arrive. Even checkout was a breeze.

As always, excellent service, accommodation and spa facilities. The beds are so comfortable and being able to watch the hot air balloons hovering over the city whilst enjoying the spa was an extra bonus.

What can I say, absolutely amazing.

Service 10/10. Room was clean, view was amazing and the bed was huge and comfy. We were on the 9th floor and could not hear anything allowing us a peaceful sleep. We had breakfast included and it was to die for. Everything you could think of was provided and staff were so friendly and welcoming.

Service again was mind blowing. I felt like a princess. Staff were friendly and happy to help you with your requests at any time. Could not have asked for better service. Also I could open a window which is great for someone who likes fresh air.

This hotel is was well worth the money and I would expect to pay more for what we got. Thanks to this amazing hotel my first trip to Melbourne was a huge success and I can't wait to come back and stay here again.

Located in st kilda made it easy to jump on the tram and be right in the city centre in only a few minutes. Also were some great places to eat and I even discovered a medical book shop at the hospital up the road which was a plus as me and my partner are nurses, BONUS.

Only bad points were. There was some small spots of mold on the bathroom roof and the spa was hard to get a spot in as it was very popular but apart from those minor things there wasn't anything else to complain about or pick wrong with this hotel.

Room Tip: I recommend asking for city views and spending that little extra to upgrade your room.

A theatre weekend in town, this hotel was great. Room was generous, well appointed, layout very good, bed very comfy. B'fast good. Some water stains on bathroom door, but all other appointments excellent. Great value for the price. Will come again.

Great size rooms, handy for public transport North to city or South to St Kilda area. Good breakfast. Had a drink in bar at cafe entrance and had to look at a customers leftovers (fish) on a plate whilst 3 members of staff had a chat, then left for the day!! They had at least 15 mins to at least get rid of the plate. Was mid afternoon on Friday! All other reception and wait staff friendly

A nice hotel located on a very busy yet important street if you want to use public transportation to get around which I would recommend. Leaving out the main hotel entrance, turn right until you reach St. Kilda road and go left about a block and you will see the stop. Most trams at this stop will take you to the CBD. The hotel or a convenience store can set you up with transit card for traveling.

The hotel doesn't have a shuttle service so if you don't rent a car, your best option is to hire a shuttle bus to give you a lift from the airport and back. Price was good for the service and the hotel can tell you the name.

The interior of the hotel is very nice. Rooms are also nice. The bathroom, in the room I stayed in, was a little cramped and with a door opening into the bathroom, made it hard to get around. Also, not a lot of room for storing clothes but I guess most people don't usually stay for 9 nights. The front desk has power adaptors if you need them for the outlets in the room. I like the beds to be a little harder but that is just a personal preference. Wifi is free but isn't very fast but its free so you cant really complain. They have a premium option for faster internet. They did a great job cleaning the room during my stay.

The breakfast buffet is very good. Never had many issues with food running out. Quick to replace something that did. Selection is on the better side of what I have seen. Breakfast came free with my booking so I couldn't say if the selection justified the cost for those that do pay. Also, they have free newspapers by the entrance to the restaurant so you can read while eating breakfast.

The staff at the hotel are excellent. They are very polite and are quick with any requests. I appreciate them booking my tour and show and being so quick with the shaving kit, they must carry them in their pockets. Always greeted with a good morning when I went down for breakfast.

The hotel has a sauna, hot tub, pool and gym on the 9th floor. It has an amazing view overlooking the city. A very nice sunset on a clear day.

Overall, a very solid hotel that is well maintained and is in a good location.
