We stayed here overnight and combined our stay with a trip to the theatre. This is a beautiful hotel. From the moment we arrived we recieved excellent serice from all the staff we accounted; the valet parking attendant was lovely, check in was smooth and easy and our bags were quickly brought up to our room. We had amazing views from our room on the 47th floor and loved all the little French toiletries in the bathroom. The decor in our room was modern and luxourious. We used the gym which is spacious, had modern equipment and also great massage chairs.
The hotel is in a very good location; trams just outside and a few minutes walk to the main area of the city. Also a cinema and if you dont want to eat int he hotel lots of cafes and places to eat in the food court...
Just a few gripes....The internet is way too expensive...better to take your laptop to McDonlads across the road and save yourself some money!
There is no pool.....guests can use Novotel but thats at least a 10-15 minute walk away.
And my biggest gripe our room was very dusty. The dust on my bedside table was very thick ....This caused my friend who has asthma to have breahting problems. We did mention it to the clerk at reception but they only said they would pass the message on. This is a 5 star hotel and not cheap by any ones standards....I would have thought they would have rushed their housekeeping staff up to our room with a duster quick smart at th every mention of dirt and dust...
But apart from the dust we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at this hotel. And would highly recomenned it for a short stay in Melbourne!

View from Dining room on 35th floor excellent.
Would go back from the comfortable bed and Breakfast by the window with the great view.
Even with the Accor discount thought lunch and drink menu expensive.
Thought the lunch deal the best option, would have liked more choices, plus having 1 drink included with the deal would have been a plus.
Hope to see this on our next visit in August.
The view from the public toilet 35th floor a must see.Loved it.
