beautiful gardens in walking distance from the queen vic market, we grab a bag of donuts and stroll through the gardens, paths are good, wheel chairs access is good on the flatter areas, or watch the netball on the courts during lunch.

It's ok for a fleeting moment but not a place you want to have an enduring relationship with.....as far as gardens go there is nothing spectacular here....in fact it needs something like a beautiful cascading water feature ( recycled water and solar powered of course)

We used this park, as a meeting point before visiting Q V Market. We just talked and had a good time in the park. Easy to get to frem Flagstaff station, which is just nearby.

Close to the hustle and bustle of the city. We searched for the "Fairy Tree' for our kids. Buckmaster our renowned Australian artist would sketch the derelicts in charcoal. We have one such original. Good place to sit and reflect

But when there are so many wonderful gardens it is hard to compete. These are nice like all of Melbourne's gardens, but not the best of the lot.
