This is the best little Japanese on Melbourne . Food is great, well cooked and unbelievably cheap. Staff fantastic and decor very welcoming. Only went there because of great reviews on trip adviser and very happy about that. For a fun night out and excellent food with friends highly recommended.

Went there pre Les Mis. Lovely food and we had our fill of food, drink for 6 people. Thought the bill would be around $40/head - very pleasantly surprised when it worked out at $17/hd.
We will be back

Family of 5 we stumbled upon this gem pre theatre. OMG!!!!!!! Could not stop ordering the little plates of share food. Divine gyoza with amazing vinegar, garlic, soy and sesame seeds to create your individual dipping sauce, delicious veg pickles, calamari to die for, hot soba noodles, Japanese fried rice, amazing sashimi, soft shell crab burgers. Service fast, friendly and very efficient. A must go back on our list!

As a frequent business traveller, stumbled upon this gem. Great if its a table of 1 or 6! Trifecta - great wine, food and service/atmosphere. A true new favourite. Wish I could fly in some friends just to share it with them.

We used to love Yaki-Gyoza while we were in Japan, and this opportunity was too good to walk on by. What was nice is that they don't just do gyoza, but other Japanese food too, izakaya style, which gave a nice variety to the meal.
Surprised to see a (and taste) a large bowl of finely chapped garlic as a condiment along with the sauces. On a different level, i was intrigued to see the side wall, made out of uneven, iregular thicknesses of wood. Neither point are bad, just different.
Had we been in the city longer probably would have gone back again.
