“An embarrassed Scot”
Reviewed 26 March 2014 via mobile

Been here several times courtesy of No1 son and it's obvious this lot know their stuff! I love my national drink but Jules et al take love to another level. Knowledgeable, enthusiastic and downright willing to share this with customers. They are a credit to spreading the story of the 'water of life' and they run a great wee bar at the same time! A must do when in Melbourne!

“For the love of Whisky”
Reviewed 10 March 2014

This place is Devine, with such an overwhelming range of Whisky, the venue is small but beautiful, my only downside would be the staff pushing their preference rather than what you wanted, they could also be a bit friendlier, but if your there for this Whisky not for the staff then it's perfect.

“Amazing Whisky Bar for Whisky Purists”
Reviewed 9 March 2014 via mobile

Whether your after a quick dram, or looking to sample your way through an extensive selection of 450+ whiskys this bar is fantastic. Friendly yet knowledgeable staff give attentive service.
Prices are reasonable, with house whiskys starting from $8.50 (my favourite Dalmore 12 is $9 a glass) although super rare drams costing alot more are available if you fancy. Whisky is served neat in stemmed tulip nosing glasses, so not the place to get an average scotch & coke on the rocks. They also do distillery tastings, social events & appreciation classes. A small separate smoking area is also on site.

My favourite place to drink whisky in the city

“No Caramel Added”
Reviewed 30 January 2014

Stumbled across this place while visiting Melbourne; thank God!
A great range, great knowledge and a warm welcome from all staff but I have to single out James for special mention as he went way beyond the call of duty and was incredibly helpful. Thanks mate! ; )
If you don't like whisky, try this bar anyway and tell them so; they may just change your mind.
I left not only having sampled some fine whisky but also having learned a thing or two as well.
I'll be back, its a great spot with a good vibe a good atmosphere and staff who are passionate about their product and your enjoyment of it.

“An ode to the whisky-phile”
Reviewed 27 November 2013

If whisky is your potion, then this is the place for you. Extensive range of whisky, including limited releases and gear you just won't be able to get your hands on otherwise. Knowledgeable bar staff will help all-comers navigate the imposing menu, and put the right scotch under your nose. A cosy bar, dimly lit, all that's missing is the smoke and a band in the corner.
