Great range, and clearly the tidiest and most diverse market I've experienced. Organic stall, Vegan stall, freshest fruit, veg, meat, fish, breads and cheeses.Great range of cuisines. Bonus Chocolate shop outside. Buskers in the courtyard.Going back!

“My local market, and I love it. ”
Reviewed 20 July 2014 via mobile

This is foodie heaven. The quality of produce is excellent, in particular the fish and meat. But, it is not cheap. Fruit and veg are of high quality, and last for a week. Bargains can be found particularly near closing time. The deli hall is bliss. Recommend.

Quiet little cafe that doesn't take eftpos. Customer service was quite disappointing and rude. Unfortunately the place's air of superiority doesn't make it hospitable in comparison to other cafés in the area.

“Must go to NAHEDA'S CHOICE at Prahran Market”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

Every year we visit Melbourne, we always go to these markets. Mostly a food market with some added homewares and flower sellers too. However, we always make a beeline straight for Naheda's Choice which is at shop 701. It is a deli which sells the most amazing dips, olives, our favourite turkish delights (in small blocks), date & walnut logs etc, to name but a few. It's mostly home made and plenty of ingredients used from their own garden. That gorgeous man behind the counter (he must be the owner) was so generous and invaluable with his knowledge and having us taste test plenty, that we also bought plenty and even brought it back to Sydney. The home made hummous with his own dukkah recipe sprinkled on top and with a whole bunch of crackers thrown in to dip with, went down an absolute treat back in our hotel room with a gorgeous bottle of moscato. All these beautiful middle eastern treats by this deli are a definite must try when at the Prahran Market in Melbourne.

Been shopping here at least 40 years and I still love it. Excellent produce especially from Damian the mushroom man. The delis are very good with a diverse range of produce. Love the range from Mediterranean to Asian foods and everything in between . Havens butcher is not to be missed and the seafood at the market is exceptional. The only problem is the car parking...diabolical!
