Great rooms, clean and spacious. Staff efficient and. Wry helpful. Facilities good. Only disappointment was there is only one hour internet in the room per day although it is unlimited in the lobby.
Location great for CBD, river, casino and able to walk to the beach and St Kilda too. Airport bus drops you at hotel.

Took my sons (14 & 10) to Melbourne for the weekend (we live in Brisbane).
It was their first visit and the Crown Promenade was the ideal location to explore the main highlights.
The twin room was a generous size (had two doubles) and the giant picture window gave us spectacular views-day and night!
The swimming pool area was fantastic with great city views and protection from the elements.
I wanted to give my kids some wow factor and the Crown Promenade delivered!!

My wife and I stayed at the Crown Promenade for our Anniversary last week and can't recommend this hotel highly enough. The room was amazing (stayed on the 22nd floor) with a great view of the Yarra river. The pool and spa area was fantastic and it was a great place to spend a 40 degree summers day. The only negative comment I have about our stay is that the pillows were to soft, and it would be nice to have an option to select a different type.

Can't fault our recent 2 night stay at crown promenade. We had the package that included valet parking and breakfast for two and it was great value for us. The valet was professional as you'd expect and the check-in process straight forward and fairly timely.

We had a king suite on the 15th floor and while our view was of the crown multi level car park opposite, it was still quite impressive. Aside from luxury, we expected cleanliness and that's what we got with our room (bathroom included). Speaking of the bathroom, it was quite spacious. The daily mints left by house keeping were a nice touch and they really did a great job of keeping our room clean and tidy. If I had to fault the room at all, it's that instead of a king bed it was 2 single beds pushed together. Not a big deal but made sleeping in the middle of the bed a little uncomfortable.

We enjoyed room service for dinner one night and it was very nice, relatively quick service and the menu was pretty much standard fare. I'd liken it to the menu at jimbo & Rex's in the complex downstairs so for me it was great.

We didn't use the gym but the pool area was quite nice and relaxing. Similar to the pool at crown metropol, but on a lower floor. Not a big deal, but the view from the pool at the metropol had more of a "wow" factor.

The breakfast included was at the mesh restaurant downstairs, full buffet breakfast and it was good and filling enough that we ended up just snacking for lunch. Plenty of food on offer even for the fussiest eater (like me) to be satisfied.

Overall, it was a great stay and we'd have no hesitation in booking to stay here again, but our preference is for crown metropol.

Fantastic room, clean, amazingly quite in room, room service was great and well priced, pool was nice and clean, staff very friendly, we also liked the convenience of indoor Google maps to find our way around the whole complex

If you are a business traveller or someone for whom internet access is valuable, don't go near this hotel. This was the first time we stayed here and it will be the last.

We purchased the so called "Premium" Internet service at $30 per day and could not get speeds over 400Kb/sec. Yep, that SLOW! For example, we couldn't open bank websites, Google Maps, etc. etc.

The hotel admitted that they have a limited data channel which becomes "crowded" at times. We waisted so much time with them, we couldn't even bother asking for a refund. We just decided to warn friends and take our money elsewhere. This standard is so low and excuses so bad, we highly recommend NOT GOING THERE.

This is on the whole a lovely hotel. The location is good, close to the South Bank and a short walk from Flinders Street Station and the City Tram. The lobby is huge and Reception is friendly, the Bell Desk staff are extremely helpful.

Breakfast is extensive but service can be slow at times, that is for hot drinks. Also the fried eggs were cold. The omelettes were fine but all made very differently and not very elegantly. Plus the chefs picked up each ingredient with bare hands. Good selection of breads and fruits but no bananas. Otherwise it is all very good.

The room is huge and has a big comfortable bed with nice pillows. There is a desk, 2 chairs and a bench by the window. We have a good view of the River from the 15th floor. There is a huge TV but no iPod Dock. There is a wardrobe and safe. The bathroom is spacious with a big, efficient walk-in shower but would have liked a bath. The room is very clean and modern. The air con is efficient.

On level 3 is a nice infinity pool and fitness centre.

I would recommend this hotel.
