Great for a day with other families to have a BBQ/picnic and see the animals, watch a milking, ride the train.

So, if u have kids say, under 10, OR animal lovers of ANY age, this is a lovely day out. We live west of Melbourne and it took way under an hour to get to the other side of town to this charming little farm in quite a suburban area near Endeavour Hills (Doveton). There is limited foodstock (ie. icecreams are about it) so BYO is absolutely essential, but the scenery and surrounds are excellent, a LOT of picnic spots, undercover and umbrella areas, gazebos and a BBQ area, and lots of animals for the kids to see, and most are ones you can interact with. As you pay for your entry, very cheap ($6), you are given a loaf of bread to feed the animals with, and all animals are particularly used to children, and very calm around them. Sitting with the rabbits and guinea pigs is a must, talking to the horses and cows, taking the little train ride to the wetlands area (or walking up there) to feed the scores of ducks, all a must. We spent three hrs there, with a nice lunch, and happy kids everywhere. Recommended as a good cheap holiday day out. Note: They take cash only, so just remember that. U won't need much!!! BYO picnic and drinks. Lovely! And DO see their veggie patch, awesome!

We arrived at the farm early and the staff was very nice by gave us a pack of bread to feed the Alpacas. The farm is well managed and my three years old daughter was very excited about the pony ride and feeding various animals.

We took our little girl for her first birthday, and her brother, and their faces immediately told a thousand words. The complimentary bread to feed the animals is a great touch, and it is well maintained. Unfortunately the weather was not the best, otherwise we could have easily availed ourselves to the many many BBQs and party facilities available.

We were here today with a huge group of friends (about 50 of us) and everyone had a ball. There was a woman milking a goat which was facinating and the kids loved the train ride and the pony ride were popular. The staff were friendly and helpful and because we had booked they had everything set up for us when we got there. They'd cleaned the BBQ for us that morning too. We tried to book another on next month but they are fully booked. This place is great value for money make sure you take your children to Myuna Farm at least once.
