Firstly I was a bit worried about my luggage but i found out the room was secured and the bed was good and my room was clean and tidy. I slept well that night.
It is a good hotel in Melbourne

Looks like nothing from the outside walk inside and it's very old fashioned looking. My room was nice, small clean and comfy. I had a twin room with two single beds, which were very comfy. My room had a small bar fridge with coffe and tea making facilities, a TV and an awesome little heater. The room had no ensuite but it wasn't far from my room, very clean & I never had to wait for it to be free. I would stay here again if I needed to be over this side of Melbourne.

Was really disappointed. Stayed in the family room with my family. Was happy to use communal bathrooms however found there was urine all over them (not sure how this is possible bus seems it is). It was a very cold night and the kids were freezing so I asked reception if we could perhaps have another three prong oil heater which one was already in our room. We were told no and they were unable to get us more blankets. Even the lady in reception was huddled over a little heater shivering. The tea and coffee for the room was in a plastic bag stuffed next to the kettle and to fill the kettle up one must use the water from the toilet. I know it was a budget hotel being $160 a night or so but you are better off booking out a private dorm at a backpackers as it will be cleaner and more accommodating for a budget choice.

This place looks nothing from the outside but is the perfect accommodation if you are on a budget. We had a private twin room. The room was clean and very comfortable with a flat screen TV. Free wifi throughout the building and there were no problems with it. No extra costs for luggage storage, printing of boarding passes or linen. Absolutely fantastic location in CBD. Just 2 minutes walk from Parliament stop on free City Centre Tram and walking distance to all main attractions. Would recommend and would stay again myself.

Second time I have stayed in this inner city Melbourne hotel. Yes it is very basic, but if you are after a great location and dont spend much time in your room anyway it is just great. It is within walking distance to all the city, great for walking to the MCG, and there are trams and trains just around the corner. Not the place for entertaining a friend but great base for a quick stopover or stay.

My stay at the hotel (6 days) reminded me of a residential college at a university. A clean and adequate size room with shared toilet and kitchen facilities nearby in the corridor are good for a quiet and enjoyable stay. As it is located in the centre of Melbourne, only a short stroll will reach the Parliament, railway station, Swanston St, Federation Square.

Stayed in the studio room for 7 nights, which fit myself, my two brothers and grandmother. Was a great location, and the size was great considering how little we paid. Would recommend, and will definitely be going back!
