Owner description: Nothing you have ever experienced will prepare you for the awe inspiring view of Melbourne from the observation deck of the highest public vantage point in the Southern Hemisphere. Located at Level 88, Eureka Skydeck is Melbourne's new 'must-see' attraction. Skydeck 88 is the only observation deck in the world that can thrill you with the Edge - a glass cube which projects 3 metres out from the building, with you in it!

“Bird's eye view”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 July 2014

A nice way to escape the winter cold. I showed the 10% off voucher from the visitor's guide I picked up from Melbourne airport. So off we went to the 88th storey. Many tourists were seated on the floor and blocking people from the lovely view. There should be signs on not seating on the floor. Nevertheless, had a great time to soak in and take in the sights. The small food counter looked pathetic with just 1 sandwich and few muffins.
The gift shop below is well stocked.

“Just a money making machine ”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 July 2014 via mobile

I paid additional $12 for the sky walk experience as well as $20 entry, and I was very disappointed with 'the edge' experience.

They wouldn't allow me to take my camera, and insisted that they take the photos with a Nikon D5000 which is nowhere near the quality of my camera.
They then wanted a further $15 per photo, and to be honest, the view from the window is just as good, and indeed i saw as much from the Rialto Tower the day before.

“Best view in Melbourne”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 July 2014

The best way to see all of Melbourne in one 360 degree view. The lift takes you straight up to the 88th floor at 45 kph which is a smooth effortless ride. The Skydeck takes up the entire 88th floor with floor to ceiling glass all around. You can walk outside on to a balcony enclosed by wire and feel the effects of the weather conditions high above Melbourne. We had a clear sunny day but up there it was very windy and cold. The view is fantastic in all directions and it would be a great way for a visitor to start to know the layout of the city. It would also be good for kids to get that prospective.
The staff are great and very helpful.
All in all this is the #1 quick stop attraction in Melbourne!

“Must-see in Melbourne”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 July 2014 via mobile

Great views. Okay, amazing views! Not too pricey. Kids are well catered for, recieving activity packs prior to going up in the lifts. There's a cafe up there, allowing you to sip on a coffee while marvelling at the views!
Staff are friendly & helpful. The gift shop at the bottom is well stocked, should you choose to buy a momento to take home.
