Clean, comfortable and well located. Reception staff friendly and approachable. I think the price was excellent for accommodation of this standard. That is all I want to say, but Trip Advisor insists on a 200 character minimum.........

Just got back from a week staying in a 3 bedroom apartment - 2 real adults and 4 teens! The location was superb for our situation. The teens were able to come and go around Prahran, as were we. There are heaps of restaurants, the Prahran Market a five minute walk away-we walked down to get our coffee each morning. The Commercial Road, Chapel Street shops are fantastic. There are bars and pokies near by, you really can have an enjoyable stay without having to go too far. The train station is a 5 minute walk down from the apartment, and then it is a quick train ride into the city. The apartment itself was clean, spacious and worked well for us. We had an ensuite and a tv in our room so could be away from the teens. I really liked the fact that the apartments are only serviced once a week, we could actually relax and not worry about being out for cleaning! The receptionists were incredibly helpful every time we had a query, Sue especially was always welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, even booking my taxi van one night for us. Thank you! Highly recommend this apartment complex.

Just stayed at Quest Prahran again and loved the renovations! Our apartment looked fresh and contemporary and was really comfortable. As always the staff were really friendly and helpful too.
Thanks Quest Prahran, hope to stay again sometime soon :)

We recently stayed, along with friends, in one of the two bedroom apartments for four days. The place is definitely in need of a facelift. It looked like renovations were going on whilst we were there but unfortunately they had not made it to our unit by the time of our stay. Tiles coming off the wall in the bathroom, carpet in need of renewal, kitchen cupboard doors needed repairing (one could not even be opened), and the kitchen was not very well equipped for making much more than breakfast. On the plus side, it is well located being close to the wonderful Prahan Markets and to transport/trams into the city. I don’t think I will be staying here again until I know the standard of accommodation is commensurate with the tariff charged!

The only good thing I can say about this apartment was the location just behind the Prahran Markets and close to train and tram stops.
Three couples stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment. On walking in to the apartment the first things we noticed were a large wax burn on the carpet, peeling kitchen cupboards and stains on the dining chair upholstery. The 3 bedrooms were up a steep staircase. The main bedroom was a good size and had an ensuite but the other 2 rooms were small and had stains on the curtains. It was not possible to fully open the wardrobe doors in one of the smaller rooms as it hit the bed. The second bathroom had the toilet in the bathroom which made it difficult for the 2 couples sharing it. There was no toilet downstairs. The TV did not have clear reception. The few days we were in Melbourne were freezing and the air conditioners in all the bedrooms had to be on for ages before they gave out any heat. when we complained about the quality we were told the apartments were being redone.

We were in Melbourne visiting our daughter who lives in Prahra. Quest is idealkly located to Prahran market, Alfred Hospital and tram access. In fact the tram stop is about fifty meters away.We had a one bed apartment with equipped kitchen. All the rooms are being updated, but ours was fine. Sleep quality perhaps not so great because of the trains, but we didn't find it caused any real problems. Staff are great and overall a good property.

Having been a resident of Prahran for many years, I'm used to the noise that can filter through at early hours of the morning. Heck, I'm even used to the trains. But I was not prepared for the noise that repeatedly woke us throughout the night we stayed at Quest Prahran.

We were staying in a one bedroom apartment that faces directly on to Balmoral St. There is nothing between the living room window and the street itself and throughout the night we were woken time and time again by trains, cars, people talking as they walked home, people singing and people arguing. At 6am we were woken again by departing guests, then an hour later, having finally, blissfully, nodded off, we were woken once more by the sound of the shower in the apartment above. The location is convenient, but only if you don't actually want to sleep. Given the rates charged, you would expect some level of sound-proofing.

As an aside, the room was rather bizarrely set up. Two bins were placed in the middle of the kitchen floor and the glassware was odd - one champagne flute, one white wine glass and one red wine glass - for a room meant for two people. If more than one person is staying, I hope you have different tastes in wine.
