“Good family accommodation”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 March 2014

Stayed for three nights in a three bedroom apartment with family including two young children. Staff were welcoming and helpful, apartment clean and quiet in a great location. Only negative was limited servicing of apartment despite being told it would be serviced daily and the lack of anything to clean it with ourselves.

Hi Rosemary
As new franchisees at Quest Prahran since August, it is great to hear what you liked and didn't like about the property. Be assured we take your advice seriously and endeavor to make our guests as comfortable as possible during their time with us. Servicing every day is our commitment to guests with the exception of Sunday and public holidays as is stated in our term and conditions. If this is not what you received during your stay then I apologize. It is an excellent idea to include cleaning materials in the rooms for occasions when servicing is not included. We will work with the cleaning team to make sure that service standards are maintained at all times.

Thanks for taking the time to review Quest Prahran.

I stayed here for a weekend when I was last in Melbourne.

First thing that struck me was the long list of rules and penalties that were brought to my attention on check in ($100 call out fee if you make noise after 9pm, $60 rubbish collection fee if your bottles don't fit in the kitchen bin…). The check out time on a Sunday was 10am which is early (later check out charged at $35 per hour). Also, I stayed for 2 nights and the room was not given a full service (i.e. beds were not made which I thought was surprising).

The apartment itself was fine. Clean, practical, spacious comfortable.

I think that the apartment would be better for a long term stay.

For a weekend break, it would be better to stay in one of the nearby hotels in Prahran or South Yarra given the price (and standard 11am check out at hotels). Plus your room gets made up in a hotel.

Stayed in 3 bedroom appartment for 6 nights. Good size and well appointed. Appartment freshly painted. Quiet location close to Chapel Street and Public Transport. Couldn't fault the facility or staff.

We stayed here as a family of 4 with the children sharing the twin room.
The appartments are bright, functional and pretty well equipped. they are not luxurious but do the job.
The area is a delight with Prahran market round the corner and Chapel street and lots of restaurants and bars within a stones throw.
There is a gated area you can park in and also wifi available. I negotiated these in the price whihc was worth doing for a long stay.

We've stayed in many Quests. Some fair some good some even excellent but this one seems to be fair. Although the location is perfect, There's a better choice on Windsor Avenue, also Quest managed Apt. Some of the units here are quite small we had to move into a2 bedroom unit with a slightly larger living room to be comfortable. They closed off the extra bedroom and bathroom, otherwise it would be an additioInal 1200 dollar charge for 8 days. Wo! Well live and learn. Burt

Booked a three bedroom apartment over christmas for the boxing day test. While the rooms seem to be fitted with low quality fittings and the water pipes are a little loud, the facilities in the room were a nice little home away from home. Its proximity to public transport was amazing and it had nice parks and supermarkets close by. Also only around the corner from chapel street.

Grabbed coffee every morning from Market Lane Coffee and would recommend this coffee for any coffee-lovers, Amazing!

Clean, comfortable and well located. Reception staff friendly and approachable. I think the price was excellent for accommodation of this standard. That is all I want to say, but Trip Advisor insists on a 200 character minimum.........
