Wouldn't stay again, ever. Lisa is a rude obnoxious person to have at the front of house.

There is a serious ant problem here that management is not addressing.

The ablution block was closed for maintenance with no prior notice to guests. All guests had to use the single disabled toilet from 9am. Really not good enough. When it was reopened the same toilets still didn't work, two showers still had no locks and some showers still devoid of hooks.

Pool was also closed over three days with no notice when temperatures were 35+. Management really needs to get better at dealing with their customers before they become someone else's customer.

STAY ELSEWHERE!

Good location, walking distance to cable beach. Shady sites. Pretty good facilities. Weekends in the overflow area can be noisy from the nearby (music from pub). Next door to the cable beach café and general store which featured well priced food and WiFi (no charge for byo beer and wine) friendly and helpful staff

Room Tip: Overflow area noisy on weekends otherwise fine.

I recently stayed here and can't understand the comments made about the reception staff - I found them very pleasant and helpful. My accommodation (a two bedroomed cabin) was very comfortable, within an easy walk to beautiful Cable beach, across the road from Diver's Tavern and public transport across the road. Altogether a convenient place to stay in Broome and hope to stay again on my next visit.

Didn't start well with a very grumpy young girl behind the reception desk when we checked in and got a small dusty site. Luckily the area wasn't full or we would have been very close to the neighbours. However we were close to good amenities and the camp kitchen was excellent. The pool was also great. It seemed they had quite a few semi-permanent guests who were fairly noisy.

We have just completed an extensive 4WD + Off Road Camper Trailer trip through the Kimberly, and returned from Cape Leveque to stay 2 days at this park.

We booked well in advance along with two other camper trailers we were travelling with, and so expected a reasonable campsite.

Our site was the worst we stayed at in 8 otherwise great weeks weeks in the Kimberly.

Sites 1,2 and 3 were near the main reception building AND the staff toilet. Our site was not level, not flat and directly adjacent to the staff toilets (which were also used by campers I hasten to add). Fortunately we have an Ultimate Off Road Camper and we were able to level it on the 'undulating' site....

So if you stay here - definitely AVOID the so called 'overflow' area and definitely not sites 1,2 or 3! Quite a walk to the other amenities (showers) from these sites also...

Positives - the park is near Cable Beach - short walk, and the cafe/convenience store adjacent to the park has good food/service!

Amenities - average - older and a little tired, but reasonably clean.

Our less than satisfactory campsite was 'shrugged-off' at reception with no discernible reaction when we mentioned it at check-out! It was if they had done us a favour to give us the sites we had!!

Would NEVER stay at this park again....

Room Tip: Avoid the overflow area (Sites 1, 2 or 3 AT ALL COSTS).....

Our van spot at Palm Cove had some good and bad. It was close to Cable beach which was good. Pricing was fairly standard for this area but expensive in relation to some parks around Australia. It was reasonable to get into, had nice shade and staff were friendly. I thought the park was tidy and was constantly being cleaned by ground staff. The swimming pool was good but mainly shaded which could be a good thing as it does get hot in Broome. Toilet/ shower facilities do need an upgrade but they were clean. There are many free barbecue sites available and they are always clean. A down side was the noise coming from divers tavern 100 metres from the park but I will admit whilst annoying didn't keep me awake.
Our friends stayed in an air conditioned cabin which I think had a queen size bed, new digital, possibly 22' TV, and all the facilities needed. I believe it had a spar bath/ shower. It was comfortable approx $175 a night but I would rate it as 3 star but again as long as you stay there knowing what to expect, not expecting 5 star, then I think it is ok

Room Tip: Try not to stay in van spots backing on to Cable Beach road due to traffick noise but they are close...

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin and found it to be ideal. The staff were friendly and helpful. The gardens were very nice and shady. Accommodation was clean and well appointed and we really enjoyed our stay here. Walking distance to Cable Beach and very reasonably priced. Have booked to stay here for another 3 nights on our return home.

Room Tip: We found the 2 bedroom accommodation perfect for our needs. Security was good and staff fixed a prob...
