“Best holiday destination ever!”
Reviewed 1 June 2014

I've stayed at Eco Beach resort many times now - as a solo traveller and also with a young family (Partner + 2 year old daughter).
My passion is the fishing - Kurt is a legend and an amazing fishing guide. He'll take you to all the best spots whether you choose to do the boat trip or land based fishing at Jack's creek.
Kurt recently helped me to catch Sailfish x 4!!, Mulloway, Golden Trevally, Tuna, Coral trout from the boat and Barramundi, Finger mark, Mangrove Jack, Queenfish, Threadfin Salmon and Cod, during the land based trip.
Fishing from the beach is great too and there are heaps of different species out there, just waiting to eat whatever you cast out!
My partner loves the location - and the food! There's always something tasty to sample on the menu and the wine list compliments anything you should choose to eat.
Our two year old LOVES the infinity pool and it's as much as we can do to get her out of it!!! During my recent stay, I noticed a brand new play structure that's been built next door to the pool and Jack's bar. I'm fairly certain that our little one will split her time running from play structure to pool for the majority of our return trip in August!!
Summary:
Location: Amazing.
Staff: Friendly and helpful.
Accommodation: Awesome! Definitely treat yourself to an 'Ocean Front' villa if you can. The ocean view villas are good too. We stayed in a tent once (before we had our little one), but it was quite hot so you'd need to choose the timing of your trip to avoid the highest temperatures.
Dining/Drinking: Everything you could wish for and great quality.
Fishing: Out of this world and Kurt - best fishing guide ever!!

Room Tip: The Ocean front villas all have spectacular views and provide a comfortable air conditioned place to...

A great escape - ten nights in a wonderful location, excellent facilities, sensational fishing and all so easy and relaxing. The food was delightful and the fishing with Barraddict was stunning. But it was the lovely staff who work there that made our stay so special.

Room Tip: We chose an Ocean View Villa due to the length of our stay, it was great.

This was our third stay at Eco Beach Resort in an air-conditioned Ocean Front Villa. It was three years since our last visit and we were not disappointed. The views from the Ocean front villas are breathtaking. Watching the moods of the ocean and sunrise and sunsets from the large decks was a highlight. It is only a short stroll to Jack's Bar to collect drinks. Each Villa is roomy and comfortable and has basic self catering facilities, with a bar fridge, microwave, toaster, tea and coffee making facilities. We chose to dine each night at the restaurant and found the staff pleasant, helpful and attentive at all times. The food was excellent.
I opted for a half hour massage in the spa which was helpful after our fishing charter with Kurt that gave the shoulders a good workout. Kurt's knowledge is second to none and he put us on to some mackerel and decent sized tuna before we hooked up to a large sailfish which took an hour to bring to the boat. We threw some baits and lures off the beach and were rewarded with salmon and bream. There are many other activities on offer to cater for different interest groups.
Extensive work has been done with plantings of local flora around the resort. The solar powered villas and in fact the whole resort is eco-friendly. Even many of the fruit and vegetables used in the kitchen are grown at the resort.
All in all we left after 4 nights well rested and already thinking about our next visit.

Room Tip: Our preference is definitely for the Ocean Front Villas but there is a range of accommodation for al...

On a whim we decided to spend two nights at Eco Beach during a week in Broome/Cape Leveque and I'm so delighted we did. From the moment we arrived the staff were just incredible. I have travelled a lot and stayed in some really lovely places - but the staff at Eco Beach were some of the most professional and genuine I have ever met. They literally bend over backwards for their guests - to the point where I had forgot my swimmers and one of the staff offered me her bikini top! It's a tribute to the owner that he has such a great team working for him especially considering the transient nature of hospitality in the Kimberley and Top End.

We stayed in a garden view tent. It wasn't the most amazing glamping experience (hot during the day, a little cramped etc) but extremely comfortable at night and was fine for the three of us (partner and 2 year old). The food was also terrific - particularly the breakfasts - and it was really great value that kids under 12 eat free.

Oh and the beach! Stunning! Especially chilling out in the hammocks under the shade shelters. The water is not as lovely as up the Cape, but it's great for a splash and there's the infinity pool (which often got a little noisy with kids) as well.

I have already recommended this place to friends/family. It's a really special spot.

That was just an amazing place to stay- the staff absolutely excellent and friendly-the location and facilities a dream. The shaded hammocks on the beach a welcoming surplus-the sunsets spectacular.Food was great and yummy(the mashed potatoes could do with some improvement :-) ), the relaxing massage was very professional and excellent too. The Mossies were a bit aggressive at this time- but that's part of nature :-)
All in all I can only highly recommend Eco Beach -it was like a Retreat to me-I got there stressed and run down and left 4 days later as a relaxed and new person- thanks so much to everyone !!!
The service by Broome Air to get there by scenic flight is perfect and safe !

Room Tip: I stayed in a Villa and was pleased to have an air con as it was still very hot, but wouldn't mi...
